Popped Punched Pumpkin

I am holding a Halloween Card Class at my house tonight, and this is one of the cards that we will be doing. We are making three cards, so make sure you check back to see all of them!
For each of the cards that my ladies are doing tonight, I got inspiration from another card. Here is the card that I saw that inspired this one. I thought the pop-out pumpkin was great, but wanted to make my own! I used the 2-1/2" Circle Punch and just punched out 5 pumpkins, folded them in half and taped them together. The card just folds flat on the front to mail in a normal envelope. The DSP that I used is Well Worn, I thought that goes pretty good with the Halloween theme.

Halloween Pop-Out Cards

The Fronts!

The Insides!

Here are my Halloween Pop-Out Cards! These fold flat and fit in standard medium SU envelopes, but the recipient gets a surprise when they are opened!
I do have to say, these cards look pretty simple, but they took forever to figure out the dimensions to make them work properly! They do have a great "wow" factor when you open them! These are a favorite with my son.

Due to Stampin' Ups' policy, I am no longer able to offer the directions and templates for these cards while still being a Demonstrator. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Meeting Swap- Swing-Out Fold Card

I decided that for my swap card for my SU meeting this past weekend, that I would do my Swing-Out Fold Card. I saw this card and used it as inspiration for the stamping on mine! I used the Falling Leaves stamp set from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog to make this card and the Perfect Words hostess set for the sentiment.
I had to make 14 of these for swaps, and let me tell you, it took forever! I did simplify the cutting and scoring to make them, so here is how I did it below. This is probably a better way to make this if you are going to cut them for a class.
HERE is my other card like this if you want to see it.

Here is how I made this card!

First I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a frame out of another piece of scrap paper and placed it over my Vanilla piece. I stamped and sponged with the frame down, and then when its lifts, you have clean edges. I used Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard and Early Espresso ink,

I cut a 3" x 6-1/2" piece of Early Espresso card stock and scored it at 3", 4-1/2" and 6". Put glue on the middle 1-1/2" section and fold it over.

You will now have the piece on the left. Then put glue on the small 1/2" section like shown.

This will glue behind the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Espresso card base. Now you have your swing out arm that folds back to fit in the envelope!

Cut a 2-3/4" Vanilla square and stamp on it for the swing out section. Your card is finished!

Piano Cards

Card One

Card Two

This project contains the directions for TWO fun piano cards! I had so much fun making one of them, I just had to add the second!
One has pop-up keys when you open the card and the other is in the shape of a grand piano and holds a gift card! These would be great for birthday cards or to use as invitations for a party. You can also use them for any occasion for a music lover! Hope you have fun with them!
The grand piano is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and fits in a standard Medium Envelope. The Pop-up keys card fits in the Small Open End envelopes, and is approximately 6-1/2" x 3-1/4".

Pop-out Lattice Butterfly

I saw this idea of using the lattice as a pop-up frame for the inside of a card and I loved it! It seems very elegant.
For the front I cut the lattice die cut out of a white piece of paper. I popped this up over black polka dot paper and popped up the inside pieces back where they got cut out. I also used pieces from a black lattice for the sides.
To make the pop-up inside just fold the lattice in four equal parts and glue it down! I used the Beautiful Wings embosslits die on black paper and drew on it with a white gel pen.

Pull-out House Card

I thought this little card would be great for someone who bought a new house!
Here is how I made it:

The overall size of this card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". If you start with a piece of paper this size you then cut the bottom square part to 3 1/2" long and 2 3/4" wide. Then make the roof a triangle from the tip of that.

I cut Basic gray strips and then used the scallop edge punch on one side. Use a sponge with Basic Gray ink and ink one side. Tape the strips across the top to make the roof.

Once they are all on, trim the sides to the shape of your white paper.

For the piece that it slides into it is 3 1/2 tall by 7 1/4" wide scored 2" in from both sides. Tape this like shown to fit the house into.

I added a chimney and the door and you are all done! The card slides in and out of the pocket and fits under the first row of shingles.
