VW Bug - Bad Day Card

I was playing around on Splitcoast (and not doing was I was supposed to be working on) and found THIS CARD! It seemed like too much fun to not make a template for this card. This is totally my kind of humor. Since it amused me so much, I made the template FREE!

The main card base is Baja Breeze, and then I cut a top layer out of Real Red card stock for the front with the windshield cut out, and a second layer for the front hood. I sponged it with Cherry Cobbler ink.
The lights are a 3/4" Circles punched out of Silver and a 1/2" Circle out of So Saffron. I used the Under the Stars stamp set for the mosquito that hit the front windshield, and I used the Perfect Words Hostess stamp set for the license plate. The mirrors are using the Word Window Punch.
This is what the inside says:

Here is the car just plain, you can make it into any type of card!

FREE Template!

The dashed lines are where the card is folded at the top.

Gently Falling Three Cards & Box

Here is my three card class with a matching box, using the new Gently Falling stamp set and Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and Buttons from the new 2011 Holiday Mini. This mini officially starts for customers on September first, so this is a little sneak peak of the products! For Demonstrators, we have already been able to pre-order and get these products, so here are some great things to make with them and show your customers for when they can get them!
You can easily switch up the colors and stamps for this project and make it for any occasion. I thought pastels with a baby stamp set would be perfect for this layout!
The box easily fits three of each card and envelopes for a great gift!

Hidden Pocket Glider Card

Here is my Hidden Pocket Glider Card! I had so much fun with my Ultimate Glider Card that I had to change it up and simplify it a bit to make them for swaps for Convention! This card is really easy to do and simple to prepare so it would be perfect for classes! You can even put a message or a gift card inside the hidden pocket!
You can watch the video below to see how the card opens and closes.

Beer Card - FREE Template!

Here is the Beer Card that I made for a masculine swap at Convention. This card would be great for any type of picnic or adult party, or a great guy card for any occasion!

You can download the FREE template to make this card HERE!
Here is how I made this card:
-I cut the main card base using the template out of Whisper White card stock. I gently sponged the edges with Bashful Blue ink to give it the look of glass.
-To make the card open, you cut out a second white glass shape and score it about ½” from the top. Put glue above the fold and line up the two cards. When you open the card, the top will stay together and it will open on the fold. This way you do not have to have a flat top.
-The beer part is cut out of So Saffron card stock and then I sponged the edges with More Mustard ink to give it the look of beer.
-The foam on top is Very Vanilla card stock also sponged very lightly with More mustard ink.

Your beer card is done!

After making the Castle Frame for my daughter, I had to do something fun for my son too!

Also great to give a present in for Father's Day as a NASCAR car!

Owl Cards Addition

Here is my Owl Cards Addition Class!
This project has the same card template as the Owl Purse & Cards (except no template for the purse) with all new outfits!
This tutorial includes templates for all of the outfits shown here as well as templates to make the baby owls that I have previously posted pictures of on my site!
These would be great invitations for a Halloween party or for scrapbooking the photos afterwards. I thought the cheerleader would be perfect during football season as an invite to a watch game or for a Superbowl party! You can change up the outfit for any team!

( My husband is a Jets fan, can you tell?)

Fire, Bus and Police Car Cards

Here are my bus, police car and fire truck cards! These are all vehicles that my son loves so I thought it would be a good three card project! These would work great as cards or as additions to scrapbook pages.
With school starting the bus is the perfect card for bus drivers coming to pick up the kids or for your scrapbook pages of the first day of school! I thought a police and fire truck would be great for scrapbooking or thanking our wonderful service people.
You can easily change the color of the fire engine to be a tractor trailer truck or change the bus to green to make a hummer or military vehicle!

*** I am now working on being able to offer my new templates in svg. format so those of you that have the Cricut or other cutting machines will be able to use them! Thanks so much to Danielle R who offered me all the help in figuring this out (and it was her idea for me to do this!).
If you want the template in this format just send me an email after your purchase and I will send the templates to you this way. I should have it figured out soon!

Briefcase Box & Cards Project

This is my new Briefcase Box & Cards Project! The briefcase fits multiples of the computer, calculator and cell phone cards plus envelopes!
This would be a great gift to keep together and give all of the cards in the briefcase or to split up and use the cards for different occasions. What a perfect guy gift for a birthday or Father's Day!
This project is also a great gift for a child. My three and five year olds have been running around talking on their "phones" and emailing on their "computer" and adding on their "calculator" since I first made them! The briefcase even comes to the grocery store with us just in case my daughter needs to make an important "call" while we are there!

You will get templates for all of the numbers, buttons and pieces that you will need.

Just because it was so cute I thought I would share...
Here are my kids talking on their "phones" at breakfast! Ashley didn't want to share the one that I made so she made Timmy his own, that's why his is white. ( She made a perfect copy of mine, buttons and all!) They walked through the grocery store talking on these just like this!
