Hello,
Today I am guest hopping with the Unity {be inspired} Challenge design team because my card won last months challenge! In addition hopping with the DT I also won a big old bag of Unity stamps a double win for me!!
Here is the inspiration image for this months challenge:
Such a beautiful inspiration photo and wonderful sketches.
For my first card I used the card sketch.
I used #IB-PH-275 You Are My Main Squeeze illustrated by Phyllis Harris.
For my second card I used the gorgeous inspiration photo.
I used IB-819 Happy Dust by Angie Blom for this card. With this sentiment I knew I wanted to all a lot of sparkle. I started with some pretty paper with plenty of glittery sparkles and I couldn't leave it at that so I added more sparkle with a glitter pen to the "Happy Dust". If you have ever tried to capture glitter with a camera you know how hard it is to catch. Here is the best I could get.
And don't forget to visit all the blogs and leave comments along the way to win the hop prize!!!
Thank you for stopping by.

Blue Angel
Hello and Happy Monday!! I am excited to say that a few weeks back I was ask to be a guest designer for Through The Craftroom Door Challenge. Of course I said yes!! I love their challenge and enjoy playing along. The design team is uber talented and they always offer up such beautiful inspiration. The challenge is Anything Goes!! How cool it that? I want to thank Sandi and the rest for the design team for choosing me for this opportunity to be their guest designer.
I was provided with a beautiful image Charity Angel from Michelle Perkett Studios to work with. Oh I did have fun coloring her.
To give her more of an angelic look I desided to add feathers behind her. I also used a glitter pen to add some sparkle to her halo, wings and details on her dress. Make sure to check out the design teams gorgeous creations and all the details of the challenge. I hope you can play along. Thank you for stopping by.

Some Me Some Bling!
Hello I am hosting the Free For All Friday challenge on StampTV this week. For my challenge I would like to see some bling, sparkle or glitter on your project. It can be something as simple as adding some pearls like I did or you can go over the top and really glam it up! Most important is I want you to have fun!! Here is my sample.
I used Merry Tree stamped with Memento rose bud and then cut out with a spellbinders die. Before removing the image from the die I sponged some angel pink around the outside edges. The patterned paper is My Minds Eye Be Merry. The card base is Pure Luxury base weight Ivory. The patterned paper is matted on Pure Luxury Lipstick Red. I finished up with some silk ribbon and a pearl flourish.
I hope you can join me and play along with my challenge, I would love to see your creations. You can find the challenge here at StampTV. Thank you for stopping by.

Wild About You
Hello I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here in the United States we had a three day weekend to celebrate Memorial Day which is why I have to apologize for the long absence from posting. We decided to take a little trip over the weekend and I wasn't prepared so my stamping and blogging time was cut short. I do have a card to share today that I made for my last week as a guest designer for The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge. This weeks challenge is to Use animal print paper, ribbon and images. I had so much fun being the May guest designer and I would like to thank Angela, Colleen and the rest of the design team for having me. It is such a wonderful challenge and I will continue to play along and hope to see you there. So on to my card.
I used Theresa Momber's set Wild About You from Gina K Designs. This is one of my favorite sets. I used the wax paper technique for the back ground panel and sponging and masking for the main scene. I am also entering this card into Simon Says Challenge to make something for Father's Day or a special male. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Have a Sweet Birthday
Hello today's card is one I made for The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge. This week the challenge is to be inspired by strawberries.
I knew right away that I wanted to use the strawberries from Sweet Strawberries and the jar from Buds and Vases (both from Gina K Designs) to make some strawberry jam. I colored the images with copics and also used a couple of the new memento inks for the sponging. I am looking forward to the wonderful new colors. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Fly a Kite
Hello I have some exciting news to share. I have been ask by Angela Bonanno to be the guest design for The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge for the month of May. Thank you Angela!! I really enjoy the challenges at The Outlawz, there is always one that I can find to inspire me. This weeks Greeting Card challenge is a super easy one, Anything Goes. The Cutting Cafe gave the design team a bunch of wonderful fun images to work with. The hardest part of the challenge was picking an image to use. Here is what I created.
I colored the kite with copics and then cut it out. The papers are some very old retired Stampin Up. I am also entering this card into Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge this week.
I hope you can join us this week over at The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge and while you are there make sure to check out the fabulous creations from the design team. Thank you for stopping by.

Going Green???
Hello I hope your week is going well. I am happy to say that I am hostessing StampTV's Mix it UP Monday this week. Right now there are a lot of challenges out there that are calling for green. Well that wouldn't do for me, LOL. So for my challenge I want you to re use something that you would normally throw out. It can be anything from soda pop can tabs, cereal boxes, paperclips etc. Anything you can think of. You don't even have to use green, but feel free to use it if you want.
Here is the card I created for the challenge.
Can you figure out what I used?? The tag is a formica sample that I have covered with patterned paper and then stamped a sentiment on. I think that the tag could easily used for a key chain by adding a jump ring and a keyring thingy. I used Melanie's Stately Flowers 3 for this card. The bitter root flower is colored with copics and then cutout and placed on a sponged circle that was cutout with nestabilities. If you would like to play along and have a chance at winning a grab bag of Gina K Designs stamps head over here to get the rest of the details. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Bluebonnet
Hello everyone!! I am so excited to be hosting the Friday Free For All on StampTV.
Here is my challenge.
I love flowers and even though it is still winter I am ready for Spring flowers. Flowers and butterflies are my favorite things to color and put on the cards I create. For the challenge I want you to have at least one stamped flower on your project plus use at least two different shapes. They don't have to be anything fancy, you could use a circle and a square for example, as long as there are two shapes and a stamped flower.
For my card I used the bluebonnet from Melanie Muenchinger's set Stately Flowers 1 from Gina K Designs.
I hope you join me over on StampTV and play along. If you do you have a chance to win a prize, if you Gina K Designs stamp you get your name in twice! Thank you for stopping by.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Hello,
We are in full Christmas mode here. I was able to get a big chunk of my Christmas shopping done. The house is nearly done with decorations and I have a couple of Christmas projects done. Before I show you my card and ornament I have a bit of news. I am so thrilled to be a Guest Designer for this weeks Try a New Technique on SplitCoast Stampers. This week the challenge is to use buttons to create something Christmasy or wintery. I went with Christmas.
I hope you can join us this week and pull out those buttons (you know you have them) and make something fun. Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Tag
Last January I was the guess designer for Melanie Muenchinger using her set Square Pegs. A few weeks ago Melanie emailed and ask if I would be interested in showing a project using that set. Well I didn't have to think very hard of course I would. I made this tag for my blog and it is super fast ans simple to make you could easily make a bunch in a short amount of time and lets face it who can't use some fast projects. to make the yo yo I used s short piece of double stitched ribbon and on side I used the thread from the stitching to pull and gather the ribbon and then glued it to a small circle of card stock. Square Pegs is a great set full of images for many holidays and occasions through out the year, I had a lot of fun playing with it as her guest designer.
Thank you Melanie for the opportunity to showcase Square Pegs again.
I have a card on Melanie's blog so please head over there and take a look. Thank you for stopping by.

Wednesday Inspiration Challenge 8/25/10
Today I am sharing with you my last Inspiration Challenge for StampTV. I have had so much fun doing this challenge each week. Thank you Gina and Jessica for the chance to be a hostess, it has been awesome!
So for my challenge this week I went to Martha Stewart.com for an inspiration piece. This couple of weeks Fall and Halloween cards have been popping up in Blogland and getting me in the mood to make fall themed cards, so that is the direction I took for my last challenge.
Here is the photo I picked.
Here is my card I made.
If you would like to give my challenge a try here is the link on StampTV. If you play you have a chance to win a stamp set valued at 24.95 or less and if you use Gina K Designs stamps you get your name in TWICE! This is a great week to win as there are some fabulous new sets being release tomorrow.
I am also entering my card into my Mom's challenge for Speedy the Cat this week to make a Harvest Themed card. I had no idea that she was having a challenge this week or that it would be something that tied in with mine. I can tell this is the kind of thing that happens with both my mom and sister. I guess it tells you how much we all think alike. Speaking of my sister she has an awesome stamp set that will be released tomorrow for Gina K Designs. Next I am entering this card in Stamptacular Sunday Challenge to use two or more stamped images. Thank you for stopping by.

Gina K Designs Illustator Blog Hop Featuring Melanie Muenchinger
I am so excited tonight to be a part of a Blog Hop featuring sets illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. Last week when I received the email from Melanie asking me to be apart of this hop I squealed with delight.I have been a long time fan of Melanie's work. I have more than my share of her sets. for those of you who are not familiar with Melanie she is one of the illustrators for Gina K Designs. For my card I picked my very favorite set of Melanie's A Year Of Flowers. A Year of Flowers is such a wonderful stamp set to work with and there are so many way to use it. I never get tried of it. For my card I started by stamping a bunch of flowers and leaves from the set enough to fill more than half a sheet of card stock. then I set about coloring them, I wasn't careful at all about staying in the lines and when I was done you may have thought a five year old had colored them! I planned on cutting them out so the lines didn't matter much. So after cutting them out I played around with arranging them in a pattern until I was happy, and a card was born. Here it is.....
Tonight Melanie Muenchinger has several designing friends sharing samples they created using some of their favorite sets from Melanie, take a look!
