The Cuttlebug Spot Set The Table
The challenge this week for The Cuttlebug Spot is Set the Table: Decoratins for Thanksgiving holiday. I choose to decorate a candle. To start I pulled out my crimping tool and brushed off the cobwebs and crimped the kraft base. For the next layer I embossed the green with a cuttlebug folder, sorry I can't find the name of it right now. The leaves are some paper leaves I found at Michaels and I embossed them with textile texture embossing folder. I added the sentiment and I was done. I made this last Saturday and I am still finding glitter everywhere. I love glitter, but it hangs around like Easter grass!
Here is a close up of the leaves.
This would be a great fast and easy last minute decoration for your Thanksgiving table or how about a Hostess gift. Make sure you go over to The Cuttlebug Spot and see the wonderful creations from the rest of the Design Team. And we would love to see you join us in this weeks challenge. Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Cat
Ok so how is that for a lame title? Do you have a hard time coming up with titles or is it just me? Well I will get to the tag I created.
This is a tag I made last weekend for some challenges. The stamp is from Pink Cat Studio and is colored with copics. After cutting it out with my newest nesties set I sponged the background with memento ink. It is hard to see in the phot , but the white on the hat is fun flocked. I have to tell you it wasn't all that fun cutting out the little mouse, but worth it. I have the challenges listed below as well as the rest of the card details. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Just Us Girls DT Try Out
They are having a Design Team call for Just Us Girls and this is my entry. The challenge is to make an item using a template and a card using the sketch they provided. I used Sending Sunshine from Gina K Designs for my card and Slip Cover box template from My Time Made Easy. I have all of the supplies used listed below.
For the images on both the card and the box I started by stamping the daffodils and coloring them with copics. Then I masked them and using post it notes I masked off for the horizon and sponged the sky and then flipped the post its and sponged the ground. The foliage was added last by inking with bamboo leaves and stamping off two times before stamping on my image panel. The butterflies were added last and inked with danube blue and stamped off twice before stamping on the image panel.
The template for the slider box can be found here at My Time Made Easy. Wow if you have never tried one of these templates you should. The download is very fast and easy, plus they are very reasonable priced. The box was fast and easy to put together. All I did was add the stamped panel and some ribbon with a button accent. Thank you for stopping by.
I am also entering this card and box into a few challenges. First for Clearly i Stamp to create a project using flowers. The second challenge is for Gina's inspiration challenge on StampTV. Finally for the Speedy the Cats Friends challenge #2 over on Mark's Finest Papers, to use a corner punch on your card.

It's time for another CSS Blog hop!
Several members of the CenterStage Spotlight Alumni team have gathered some of their favorite BBQ Picnic recipes together for us to make another cookbook! The cookbook will be available for FREE over on the StampTV Freebie page for you to download and print at your leisure.

Here is a photo of my project.

So are you hungry yet? If not you will be by the time you take a look at all the delicious recipes. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the hop!

A second look
I have been meaning to post this for a few days, but with being out of town I just never got to it. I had a few requests to see my triangle luminary on my holiday table. It is actually Theresa's table as that is where I was for Christmas. I used three battery operated tealight candles which worked perfectly to give a great glow.
Theresa also gave me a little lesson in Photoshop so I am hopeful that my photos will be looking a bit better in the future. I hope to have something new to show you tomorrow, if I can dig myself out of this mess that is in my room at the moment. Thank you for stopping by.

Sweet Christmas Treat
Hello my posts this week are very short, but at least I am getting my projects up. After this week things will slow down for me, and hopefully I will have some sweet down time.
Today I am showing you a sour cream container I made for Carolina's anything but a card challenge this week on StampTV. I was inspired by Carolina's sample and had to get right to this one. I started with pure luxury white and clear embossed the snowflakes. Next I sponged with bashful blue over the whole thing. Then it was just a matter of taping it together and filling with candies. Normally I would have used a crimper to seal the ends, but I can not find it so I used my scorpal to score a couple of lines, it worked great. The whole thing only took me about 15 minutes.
Make sure you come back later night I have a card for Theresa's Life is Good blog hop.
Thank you for stopping by.

Merry Treats
A quick post to show this little pillow box I made for Gina's technique challenge this week on StampTV. The challenge was to create a candy gift. The only requirement was it had to incorporate some type of stamping or papercrafting. This was super easy I just stamped one of the sentiments from Holiday greetings. I layered that with rocket red and all spruced up then I wrapped the shear red ribbon around it. All of the supplies are included in the Holiday Cheer StampTV kit from Gina K Designs. The hard part of this was staying out of the the peanut butter M and M's. Have you tried peanut butter M and M's, they are so good. Thank you for stopping by.

Twilight Bookmark
Wow this is my second post today.
I made this bookmark for My sons girlfriend, we are all huge fans of the Twilight series. We also favor Edward. This was super fast to make, first I stamped the images. Next I colored the images with Koh-I-Noor pencils and then blended them with OMS. I think the whole thing took about ten minutes. Sorry for the picture, I didn't make sure I had a good one before I gave it away. By the way she loved it. Thanks for looking.

Sweet Treat
I made this ice cream card for today's sketch challenge on SCS (sc188). My mom came up with this idea for an ice cream cone a few months back. I liked and so did my sister. My sister Theresa from Crafting The Web wrote a tutorial for the ice cream here. Thanks for looking.

Look at my new Unity stamps!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy I won this set from Unity Stamp Company last Thursday, and it got here yesterday. That was so fast. This is my second Unity set, and I can't wait to get some ink to them. I am very impressed with how big they are. So if you haven't checked out Unity yet head over and see what they have to offer. For me I have two set that are going to be on my next order Tiny Trinity and Giggle Grove. I would like to extend a huge thank you to Angela for having such an awesome stamp company and for my new stamps. Thanks for looking.
