Today we went to my son's house to celebrate Harry's second birthday.
He had a cake with handy manny tools on top.
We were treated to a brief show on his new keyboard. Perhaps he will be a musician like daddy. He was given a guitar as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jo
I hope you have enjoyed the day. Not so many cards ,but loads of FB greetings, see you are loved.
The present will be forthcoming soon as we can manage to sort it out.
Meanwhile enjoy your DVDs and CD etc.
Hope you enjoyed your dinner, I did it with as much love as I could.
The cake was a challenge wasnt it?
Will try to post some pictures, but this lap top seems to have a total aversion to images (and most other things).
Happy Birthday Jo. You are still my favourite eldest daughter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA
Today is my baby's birthday. This makes me feel very old. I remember when she was born, just before Christmas. The Christmas we had the trauma of the Fisher Price record player. Her sister Jo wanted one. Gran promised to get it. 10 days before Christmas she decided she didnt like it and was getting a book instead.....I had to scour the shops, but they were all sold out. John eventually tracked one down in Hammersmith.
Meanwhile Laura was with my mum. No trouble at all. She smiled from the day she was born and hasnt ever stopped. She slept through the night from a week old. She was a funny and ever so slightly naughty little girl. She and her sister are close to this day. That pleases me.
She is my favourite younger daughter and I wish her the best birthday. Hope she likes her present.
