The cube is stitched!

The snowman family is all stitched!  I have been doing a bit here and there and finally finished it up today!
I am going to start stitching it together and adding a tassel and hanger!

Spring

A while ago I finished stitching Spring by Loretta Spears and the above is what it looked like stitched, with
a different light from today!
Here is the finished ornament.  The four corners are folded into the center and then stitched along the back and it creates a pillow like effect as shown below.

Brilliance

Brilliance is the now finished ornament by Loretta Spears that is 3 inch diameter.  Worked on Congress using Kreinik size eight.  I fit the canvas over a 3 inch button, covered the back with fabric and then added a ribbon edge and gold cord and tassel.

More finishing

This is the Fiesta Cube designed by Loretta Spears that I finally finished.  This is only one inch across and
was a lot of fun sewing into the cube......not!  It took me forever to sew those tiny little seams, stuff it and then attach the hanger but I do like it.
So, I also finished the candy canes that I stitched a long time ago....this canvas in on one of the self finishing buttons.  I put red striped material on the back of the button and then trimmed with the red and white wire trim.

Five out of six

The background and snow is done in the top five sides of the cube....I am working on the last one and have started the background.  I am working it a bit differently so I can add the snow as I go and the basketweave is getting tedious!  LOL

Another one back from the framer

Ocean Waves by Judy Souliotis is back from the framer!  The sparkly mat and then matte frame set this off perfectly!  Thanks, Cari!

3 sides done

I finished all of the background on the "dad", beaded all the snowflakes in the top block, beaded all of the "dad" and have started the background on the "sister".  The background is being worked with Fyre Werks soft sheen and the beads for the snowflake are a matte white.
