Done!

I added the Tutu by ruching 7 mm River Silk and then cross stitched the name with Kreinik #4 gold.

I finished all the Neon Rays stripes!  On to the Tutu!

Working on the fur

I have been working on the fur all week.  First, I started with a different thread and did about half of his head and did not like it.  Ripped and ripped.  Went through the drawers of thread and finally found a match for the fur color that I wanted!  Working with a single strand of Soie Gobelin in random long and short stitches now to fill in.

eyes and a snout

 

I am changing the colors on the pug to match my sister's dog.  His eyes and snout are done and he has a little white under his mouth.  I also see one missed stitch!  LOL

Christmas Pug

 

I put Christmas Pug by Will Bullas,  Pug CBK, on the stretcher bars.  I have stitched the dark red background in skip tent stitch using Silk Lame Braid Petite.  This is a 4 x 5 design.

Framed!

HalloQueen by A Poore Girl Paints is matted with an orange and then purple mat surrounded by a shiny black frame.  Can't wait to hang this up!

 

Finished!

This is my finished version of Cathedral by Kirdy Biggs.  If you look back at the original design you will see that I only did the stitches for the center out to the Crescents.  The four corners are also her stitches.  The other stitches I added as well as all of the bead and their placement.

Then a few eight point stars....you can see the travel threads now but you won't later.  Also not in the chart.

I added the East and West designs.  I am no longer following the chart!

I am going to fill in the four corners and a few other spaces before I decide to rip out the Jessicas.

I am not happy with the Jessicas as I expect a perfect circle, which they are not...I have stitched and ripped  and ripped and stitched.  Even got a second opinion and can't get these to be a perfect circle.  I am moving on and may just rip most of them out again.
