Next up!

I pulled this from my stash.  Cathedral Notre Dame by Kirdy Biggs Threedles.  I am changing-the canvas color to blue, and the threads to ecru and white.  I have pulled several and added some Silk Lame Braid Petite in for shiny.  I will also add some beads as needed.  I have been studying the chart and plan on making some changes to it as well.  Stay tuned for this voyage!

And the crown!

This one is done!  I beaded the crown using Kreinik #4 to match the bead colors.  If you look close you will see that there are small purple and green beads along with the five cube Amethyst beads.  Ready to be framed!

We have white!

The white Trebizond arrived!  I have started working the white stripes across the canvas.

A pumpkin!

I stitched the pumpkin.  First I stitched the black cutouts with Silk Lame' Braid in black.  Then I tent and reverse tent stitched the shading lines with more Silk Lame' Braid.   Last, I did random long and short stitches with the orange Silk Lame' to create the side curves and then the center straight stitches.  What a happy pumpkin!

Ever have one of those weeks?

Ever have one of those weeks where you can hardly find ten minutes to stitch?!  That was this week, but today I managed to finish all of the  colored bands!  Finally!  The white thread is still making its way to my mailbox and I am hoping it arrives soon!

Almost all the bands

I haven't been pushing on the bands as I want the white to finish the bands so
I can move on to the other areas.  In the meantime, I have also pulled a couple of other projects out of the stash in case I need to set this aside for a while waiting on the thread.

Waiting on white

I thought I had plenty of Trebizond white, but no, I did not.  I am going to
keep working across the bands until the mailman delivers the white.  The purple and green bands are Darning patterns H & I.

Bands

Background threads are Trebizond.  White is a cashmere variation, orange is tent stitches, purple is a darning pattern.

Finished!

Building a Snowman is finished.  I added a nose in Silk Lame Braid, his body in a Bargello stitch with more Silk Lame Braid.  I added the stars using a sequin secured with a bead and had some square beads for all the coal.
