Back at it
I got some stitching done today! I have finished the gold trim on the robe at the top, filled in his mustache with some Wisper and the beard with Santa's Beard. I have only brushed it a little as I need to put in more Silk Lame Braid on the right side.

Spring is here!
I don't know about you, but with the arrival of spring comes a lot more chores! Time to clean up the sticks, pine cones and leaves that accumulated over the winter. Trim back different posies so they are ready to bloom again. Extra house work like washing windows and outside doors. The darn maid just never shows up! So finally, after finishing some more inside cleaning today, I stitched! I worked a lot of his robe in two shades of Silk Lame Braid and did some Frye Werks for the trim. I have worked down far enough I can do his moustache and beard next.

Change of plans
I did not like the Fyre Werks Smyrnas so I ripped them all out. I also changed the blue from Fiesta to Silk Lame Braid. Added some eyebrows, eyes and nose line.

Lunar Santa
My ANG chapter is selling the stash of one of the members. I picked this partially stitched Santa that came with the threads and a one page guide. The canvas says JML at the bottom and is a 2 x 12 design on 18 count. I have ripped out all of the previous stitching. I have redone the face in basketweave, put in gold Smyrna stars, redone the staff for the moon, and am doing the Kalem knitting stitch for the mittens.

In the box
I did the little bit of finishing work to put this design in the black hinged Sudberry box. All done!

Final stitches
My little design for the black box is finished. I added black Blending Filament boxes and Kreinik silver verticals to finish off the section.

A bit more
The holiday is over and time to get back to this piece! I filled in a couple more woven spiders, started some background fill, and did a trio of Crescents.

Happy Easter!
This is an egg I designed and stitched several years ago. I finished it by adding satin to the back, lace around it to cover the seam and folded ribbon roses and ribbons for the top.
Hope you all have a safe and Happy Easter with friends and family!
