{The Cat's Pajamas} 4 U

Today's card feature's the No Peeking digital stamp from The Cat's Pajamas. This was a favorite clear stamp and I was sad to see it retired. So when Alma added the digital version to the shop I jumped on it.

I printed the bear and the 4 U tag onto Copic friendly cardstock then cut out using a pierce edge die. I used a combination of Copic and Altenew markers to color it plus a white gel pen to polka dot the bow. I added some patterned paper on the background to make it festive yet clean and simple. Easy peasy and one more Christmas card to add to the stash.

Last Day of the Purple Onion Designs Sale!

It is the last day to take advantage of the Purple Onion Designs anniversary sale. The sale ends at midnight EDT.

I stamped one of the fish from the Tropical Fish Set, Sea Horse and Crab onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, then fussy cut out. To prepare the background I used a stencil and blended lazy day and summer splash ink onto water color cardstock, then splashed with droplets of water. After attaching the net diecut I placed the tropical creatures onto to it and then stamped the sentiment from the Sea-timents set.

Happy Thoughts of You {Purple Onion Designs Sale}

I am back with another project for the  Purple Onion Designs anniversary sale which ends Monday so don't miss it! Today's card features more adorable images illustrated by Stacey Yacula (@staceyyacula). 

I stamped Free Spirit (fox and frog on bicycle) onto Copic friendly cardstock, masked, then stamped the Beach Umbrella. After coloring with Copic markers, I stamped the Sun with sweet mustard ink then topped it with a tiny stitched circle diecut. The sentiment from the Sweet Summer Sentiments set was white heat embossed onto cardstock, framed, then attached to the patterned paper border.

Swimmingly Good Day {Purple Onion Designs Sale}

I have definitely been the design team slacker due to some health concerns but I am trying to catch up with my talented teammates with projects for the annual Purple Onion Designs anniversary sale. The stamps, including those in the sale section are 25% off through August 9. 

Today's card features some super fun images illustrated by Shari Bresciani. 

I combined images from the Rocks, Seawood & Coral, Seashells & Starfish and Squid & Stingray stamped onto a circle diecut for an underwater scene. After coloring with Copic Markers, I matted onto another cardstock circle and attached to the card front where I had blended tumbled glass ink. I stamped the larger starfish from the Seashells & Starfish set directly onto the card front twice, and also colored with Copic markers. The sentiment from the Sea-timents was stamped and white heat embossed onto a patterned paper strip using raspberry sorbet ink. A few holeless sequins finished it up.

Sending Jumbo Hugs {Purple Onion Designs Sale!}

I stamped Lottie's Gang-Squad Hugs onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with a stitched oval die, then colored with Copic markers. I created a background piece using a retired stamp with sweet blush ink onto linen cardstock. The sentiment from the Elliot & Marcel-Hugs set was stamped directly onto the background then the image was attached to it using a layer of craft foam.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Christmas Gift Tags

Today's projects are all about some of the new The Cat's Pajamas cutables. Alma knows how much I love tags and I was delighted to see the super cute Christmas tags she created for us to play with including this adorable set. I foresee me cutting all of these. And of course you can cut them at any size you want, so they can also go on cards if you don't need gift tags.

I selected two .svg files from the Wonky Ornament Tag Cutables to work with in my Silhouette machine. I love the color combos Alma used on the graphics and I was tempted to use the same. However, I thought that might be a bit redundant. Everything was cut from either cardstock or patterned paper. 

I added some small jewels for sparkle.

And either ribbon, cording and gold thread to the ornament holes.

Purple Onion Designs Anniversary Sale!

Yay! A great way to start the week off is with the annual Purple Onion Designs anniversary sale! It has been 18 wonderful years of fabulous designs and excellent customer service. As a thank you to our wonderful customer, the stamps are 25% off including those already in the sale section.

Today's card features images illustrated by the imcomparable Stacey Yacula (@staceyyacula), often imitated but there is nothing like the original. 

Wooley (lamb), Billy (goat), Flo, Mo and Bo (chicks) and Spring Fence were all stamped onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut out. Yes, even that fence! What was I thinking? To create the background scene, I stamped the Farm Horizon and then the smallest image from the 2 Forests set and added a sentiment from the Around the Town Sentiment set (ironic considering this is a farm scene). I added a few grassy scribbles with a multi-liner pen, then colored with Copic markers. To assemble, I first attached the fence to the scene, only gluing on the two edges. I then slipped the goat and the lamp underneath, attaching with foam dimensionals around their heads. One of the chicks was perched on the fence and the other two around the sentiment, all attached with foam dimensionals.
