Warm and Sweet

***Please scroll down to see today's The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek***

Today's card features a tag for the current Tag You're It Challenge (#21).

I cut out the tag from white cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo I die and stamped the sentiment from the Lil Inker Designs Coffee Cozies set at the bottom. I stamped the coffee cup and top onto patterned papers and then cut out with the matching pieces from the Coffee Cozy Die set. I cut out the cozy from even more patterned paper also using one of the dies from the same set. After adding a punched heart to the cozy I put together all the pieces, attached to the tag with foam tape and wrapped lime green cording around it securing with a button. I prepared the background with a strip of patterned paper from the American Crafts True Stories pad and attached the tag to it with foam tape. I then added a mini paper clip to the top of the tag and a couple of enamel dots for embellishments.

Rainbows (ROYGBIV)

I have another card for two of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges going on over at Splitcoaststampers. This card represents five challenges from Edna, summerthyme, Ardyth, Tammie and Lisa.

I combined two sets of Reverse Confetti stamps to create today's card, the sentiment from the Dream in Color set and the arrows and heart from the Arrows & Elements set. I combined them with two Lil Inker Designs die sets, Sun and the Rainbows and Clouds. Note the colors are the ROYGBIV of a real rainbow. I used scraps of patterned paper for the rainbow (ROYG-Red, Orange, Yellow, Green) and the heart, arrows and sentiment for the BIV-Blue, Indigo, Violet colors. I placed everything against an embossed background and added pearls, rhinestones and a sequin as accents.

Life Begins After Coffee

Today's card is for the July Sketch For You to Try. I needed a quick birthday card for a male and the sketch fit the bill. I kept everything super simple as you can see. Center stage is an image from the Lil' Inker Designs Coffee Cozy Dies and Stamp set. After die-cutting the "cozy" portion, I ran it through a paper crimper to give it some texture. I combined everything with patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Prairie Hill collection. The fishtail tags were die cut using The Cat's Pajamas Easy Rosettes CutUps. No coloring on this one!
