Traveling Pattern is 1st Finish of 2013

 Count Your Blessings
Shakespeare's Peddler
c. 2009
1/11/2013 - 1/19/2013

Here's my 1st finish of 2013.  I changed the colors a bit as I stitched, but not so far from the suggested ones.  It was a fun little design and now I'm part of the Stitcherhood!  It's now time for the Traveling Pattern to be moving on!  Sharon of It's Daffycat started the pattern on it's way from Oklahoma, and it's been traveling around the globe since February 2011!  Looking at all the names and cities/countries signed on the pattern, you can see that it has been well-traveled!

Here are the rules as posted on Sharon's original post:

1. Comment on this post, saying you would like to be part of the Stitcherhood.

2. By leaving this comment, you agree (if you are chosen) to stitch the design and send it along to the next person in a timely manner. If this means dropping everything in your rotation to concentrate on this project...so be it. If you can't bring yourself to do this ~ don't sign up.

3. You must have an active blog to participate. If you have a blog but never post to it ~ you won't be chosen to be the next stitcher.

4. This is a giveaway-type Traveling Pattern. That means you must follow it from blogger to blogger to enter each time it is ready to send along. Commenting on this post doesn't make you a guaranteed part of the Stitcherhood.

So, if you would like to be the next to stitch Count Your Blessings, leave a comment indicating so on this post only, and I'll pick the winner on January 27th about 8 p.m. central time.

The Traveling Pattern Update

Since The Traveling Pattern (aka Count Your Blessings) arrived, I've been doing a little stitching on it.  It really shouldn't take too much longer.  I want to get it stitched and sent back out.  This is a really bad pic!  I'm using my circular hoop instead of my Q-snap, and the fabric looks distorted.  I'm changing the colors from the chart as I go, so we'll see how it turns out!

DH is working on a project out in the garage today.  I'm trying to stay nearby in the kitchen so I'll hear him if he calls me to come out to help! I've got my stitching and some paperwork to keep me busy.

Welcome, new followers!  Thanks for stopping by!
