Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house...
The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!

The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o)

And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, but he is a swimming machine!

Lincoln has been swimming on his own for about a week now and is like a fish!!  It's such a relief that they are both swimming now.  We didn't do lessons last summer and so we were behind this year, but you would never know by watching them today.

Today is father's day and for the hubs special day, he golfed this morning.  He had a great time and really enjoyed it!

I swear we both could golf every weekend...it should really be a cheap sport!  While he was gone, we had our own shenanigans going on...

It's 110+ degrees outside and these two were dressed as it was freezing out! There was no chance of changing their mind, so we left...

I arrived at the store and realized that I had taken the remote control...it's one way to not let the kids or the hubs watch tv- ha!  Although, I wish it was on purpose, it was not.  I did not realize I did this until I was at the store...lol

We swam again this afternoon and both boys swam all the way across the pool with no help!  I cannot believe, how wonderful they are doing with swimming!  Tyson is now diving for the dive toys in the pool as apposed to just the step.  They both are swimming so great, hoping they continue this during swim lessons and keep getting better and better :o)

Took the hubs to dinner and then had "lazy" time as he wanted and well, he must have had a good day, because he is out!

Happy Father's Day to him and all the dads out there, including ours!
