And Babies Make...5

Yes, I am behind in posting about their 2 year checkup...we finally got in on 9/20.  Almost a month after they turned 2, but that's okay :o) There appointment, for the most part, went really well.  They both are growing great and their Dr. said we should be proud (which of course, we are!)!!  And believe it or not, Tyson is starting to outgrow Lincoln!! How crazy is that?!  Here are their stats... Lincoln...  Weight: 25.4 pounds  Height: Coming Soon! I can't remember and will have to find the paper :o) Tyson... How time flies these days!  It's been a busy year so far and it's only March!  The boys turned 18 months on the 22nd of February and they are getting so big! They definitely keep us on our toes!  They are becoming little boys now and not so baby anymore :( I can barely get them to stay still to take a picture... They are starting to talk more and more which includes repeating everything we say so, we have to be extra careful :o) Tyson however tries to say a few more words than Lincoln Facinated with climbing on everything in site!! They love giving you hugs and greeting you at the door May not listen or obey, but understand everything we are saying No longer using binkies!! Approaching their first birthday has brought back some very mixed emotions from this past year.  It amazes me sometimes what we've been through and even though we have had a rough year, finally the good is starting to out weigh the bad!! We thank God every day for giving us these little boys.  They, along with Kaila, are an absolute joy to have in our lives!  So needless to say, we had quite the celebration :o)  We started the day by taking them to breakfast to have some pancakes and then partied it up in the afternoon!!  Ha ha, I don't really know how 1 year old's "party it up", but it was a fun party to say the least!  The theme was baby dinosaurs, which were so stinking cute and we had one of the cakes look like the inivitation! They weren't too fond of their party hats, but what's a party with out party hats?!  They were so excited that their best friend, Matthew, came to their party!! Our Birthday... 1 Month... 2 Months... 3 Months... 4 Months... 5 Months... 6 Months... 7 Months... 8 Months... 9 Months... 10 Months... 11 Months... 1 YEARS OLD!

Our not-so-little monkeys are almost 1!  Hard to believe, but it's real alright! I'm telling you it's getting harder and harder as they get bigger and become more mobile!  They are into absolutely everything and anything.  Everything is at least at counter height, but no matter how high things are placed they seem to find it and either destroy it or eat it!  They are talking more and more these days.  They speak the usual baby talk, but their favorite word "da-da"!  It's "da-da" this and "da-da" that, whether Rob is home or not!  I've tried to get them to say "ma-ma" but no matter if I ask them to say "ma-ma" or "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma" they reply "da-da" or "da-da-da-da-da"  :)  They say "at" for "cat, "es is" which means "what's this" and if you say "yes" they will copy you and say "es".    Tyson... -likes to eat/chew the powde
