We attended Ethan's Run again this year for the 2nd time and it was so great to see everyone working towards a great cause!  Due to scheduling conflicts it ended up just being me, Rob and the boys. Our Heart Baby running! The boys are so active these days that we really didn't have time to take a lot pictures, but we had lots of fun.  After registration we ate a yummy pancake breakfast and then it was off to the starting line...and the boys quickly reminded us that they don't understand patience or that they have to wait in line!  That's how we started the race in the front... all the way on the left side in the 2nd row by the guy in blue is where you can see me bending down to grab the kid from being ran over w/ Rob right behind me! Most of the time I carried Tyson like this...upside down! Not my choice, after he screamed the first time that's all he wanted to do ! Lincoln only wanted to throw rocks... We had a great time attending Ethan's Run today!!  Heidi (Ethan's Mom) and family did a fantastic job!  There were so many people, a pancake breakfast, raffles, cotton candy ( of course Kaila had some at 8:30 this morning! ), music and a bounce house for the kids!!  Here are some pictures... The Fun run/walk has been changed from 2 miles to 1 mile, this had to be done so that it wouldn't mess up the 10K. For all the details please click   here

We would like to invite all of you to join our family as we support the Congenital Heart Foundation at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in honor of Ethan Skidmore and his family by participating in Ethan's Run .  Our family will be participating in the 2 mile Fun run/walk. We first met Ethan and his mom when we toured the PCTICU at St. Joe's after we found out that Tyson was going  to have open heart surgery when he was born.  As Heidi already knows, she is by far the strongest mom I know and really made us feel better with our situation even though her son's condition was worse than Tyson's.  Words can't describe the support that she has given all of the Heart Families and we'd like to return that support to her and her family as this has been a difficult time for them.  Unfortunately Ethan earned his Angel Wings on August 21, 2009 at the young age of 6 months after fig
