OH BELLY!!

Oh belly is right...well at least I think so!!

We went to the OB on Monday and we're able to hear the heartbeats through the doppler and then the doctor and I started talking about the pregnancy and everything else and then the "weight talk" came up! I've only gained 5 1/2 lbs and she said she wants me to gain another 30 over the entire pregnancy...that seems like so much weight but I guess I have to remember there's two babies in this belly so I guess that's normal?!

I wasn't planning on taking belly pictures because I just feel huge and not so cute, but I caved in and decided to take a few!! I'm going to have a friend take them for me but I was bugged and bugged to show it off now...so here they are. You may not think I'm getting big but I sure feel like I am!! I'm only 11 weeks but I feel huge!!

Man, twins don't mess around...they just want everyone to know they are here!!

You were bugged and bugged??? You wanted belly pics and you will be glad I made you take them now. You need to take them every week. Ms. Welter will take official ones when you are huge and when the babies get here. You need to take ones on your camera every week though...

I just learned of your blog through Sarah's post. You look great! Can't wait to see what you are having!!! By the way, I have lots of people who have offered things to me that I am not sure we are going to use. Do you want hand me downs? How about a crib??

so you're not big at all!! and congrats on the twins we still cant believe it!! and i was reading your earlier posts and you said one heartbeat was 138 and the other was 152.. so we are thinking that one is a boy and the other is a girl.. we love you all and miss you guys hope to see you soon

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later
