A Christmas Banner

This is my third finish from the Tilda
Mystery Christmas Box from Kitty Rose Cottage.
The pattern is Jolly Christmas Stocking Banner.
Don't you just love the stocking fabrics!
They're what made me want to get the box.
The needleturn was done using applique paper.
I've never used it before but will definitely get some more.
I can't believe how smooth you can get your curves.
That was something that has always put me off doing
needleturn applique as I would always get little sticky out bits.

Christmas Crafting Day

Well, there are only about 49 weeks to go!
Saturday saw eight of us head to a friend's house where we all made Christmas Table Centres. Taking advantage of the after Christmas sales, lots of baubles were purchased.
We had lots of fun.
Only one burnt finger from the hot glue gun!
This is my one.
Even though this isn't a sewing project,
I'm going to add it to my OPAM list for 2017!
 Afternoon tea time!
Our second project was a Hershey's Christmas Tree.
This part was a little fiddly.
 The tree!
All that is needed is a couple of little block
chocolates to make the tree base.
These trees were designed by
Brenda Quintana at QBee's Quest
You can find her tutorial here.

Well, you can never be too early for Christmas crafting!

FNWF and The Decorating Has Started!

Can you believe it was our last Friday Night With Friends for 2015! Thank you Chez for being such a wonderful hostess throughout the year.

Last night I worked on some Christmas decorations.
I bet you're wondering what's on the front.
You'll just have to wait and see!
The Christmas decorating was started this morning.
Two tree's are up. One our family tree and the other my Blogging Friends tree. I'll show you everything once all
the decorating has finished.
I've just pulled all my mini's off the wall.
Now to replace them with all of the Christmas ones.
There's a couple of new ones for this year!
Speaking of decorations. My lovely friend Shez
gave me this cute snowman.
And Barb stitched this lovely one for me.
They are now both on my Blogging Friends tree.
Thank you Shez and Barb.

Well, I'd better get back to it. Now, where to start?
