Środowe układanki

Na Ukrainie kupiliśmy kilka interesujących zabawek edukacyjnych. Jedną z nich są układanki w formie węża o wdzięcznej nazwie "Змійка" - дари природи. Co w dosłownym tłumaczeniu znaczy "Żmijka" - dary przyrody. Na obrazkach są przedstawione owoce warzywa i grzyby. Możemy ćwiczyć nazewnictwo, a także jak we wszystkich puzzlach dopasowywanie graficzne.

Colour Box 3 - our version

For a long time I couldn't decide in which way should I make the colour tablets. As usual the original version is very expensive as for few painted wooden pieces. Finally I made them in computer graphic program and printed them on normal white paper in two copies. One copy I used as a example (or error checker)  and I cut the second copy into pieces, laminating them before.

Cylinders Blocks 2

Igor has been using Cylinder blocks for a long time, there was even one post with pictures before but today I decided to write few words about this material.

The Cylinders Blocks set consists of four wooden blocks each containing 10 cylinders.

Puzzle - counting

I bought those puzzles in nearby craft shop. Very simple but helps with our present counting activities. The child just counts the items on the right hand side and matches the proper number.

W pobliskim papierniczaku kupiłem proste puzzle, niezbyt wyrafinowanej jakości, jednak pozwalające utrwalić Igorowi to co obecnie ćwiczymy czyli dopasowywanie ilości do cyfr. Igor liczy elementy po prawej stronie klocka i dopasowuje odpowiednia liczbę.

Half fruit - whole fruit

The half fruit - whole fruit is great activity to train our child's eye and ability to associate the pictures. Something simple for us might be a great challenge for our kids.

Cały owoc - przekrojony owoc to wspaniała zabawa na ćwiczenie oka i kojarzenie przez nasze latorośle. Proste dla nas, może okazać się nie lada wyzwaniem dla malucha.

Math - extra activities

Today we had small math session with counting. Igor was matching bids to number rods and then assigning to them proper number. At the beginning it looked chaotically but later on we put everything in right order.

Dzisiaj mieliśmy mała sesję z matematyki w celu przypomnienia i utrwalenia liczenia. Dla odmiany połączyliśmy dwa ćwiczenia. Koraliki i Number Rods (nie wiem jak to po polsku). Igor dopasowywał koraliki do belek, licząc je i sprawdzając, a następnie przyporządkowywał do nich odpowiednią cyfrę. Najpierw odbywało się to dosyć chaotycznie, ale później ułożyliśmy to w równy rządek.

Pink tower and other variations

Today it has been a very creative day. When I asked Igor what he would like to play with, he pointed at the Pink Tower. We started to take it out on the carpet and suddenly Igor turned back to the shelf and picked up the cards for a pink tower. Originally they had number attached but I cut them off as Igor didn't know numbers at that stage. We used wooden numbers instead. Again there was a chance to put them manually and count them again. At the same Igor was matching pink cubes to the pictures and he was placing the wooden number in front of them.

Sorting colours on Ferrero Rocher

Wczoraj udało mi się zrobić ćwiczenie, które poza tym że kształci rozpoznawanie kolorów, pozwala też na ćwiczenie mięśni i koordynacji potrzebnych do późniejszego trzymania długopisu i ołówka.

Wykorzystałem pudełko po Ferrero Rocher oraz pincetę z zestawu opatrunkowego. Lepsza była by może metalowa od cukru, ale  takowej akurat nie posiadamy.
Wydrukowałem 24 kółka o średnicy kolo 28 mm i wkleiłem w plastikową foremkę po cukierkach. Jako kolorowe obiekty wykorzystałem kulki waciane z miejscowego sklepu papierniczego.

Podczas wykonywania ćwiczenia, należy zachęcać dziecko aby poprawnie trzymało pincetę, gdyż jak wszyscy będzie sobie próbowało ułatwić życie i przekładać ręką. Pamiętajmy, że rozpoznawanie kolorów jest ważne natomiast najważniejszy tu jest chwyt.

Colour and shapes matching

This are my home made puzzles which I've seen on Marta's blog. They were kind dear and not available locally. I decided to use my practical skills gained in primary school. I bought some wooden slats and board for a base. Cut them into pieces and glued on shapes early printed. The whole puzzle is protected with transparent foil used normally for books covering.

Puzzles can be stacked in different ways depending on imagination.

To moja manufaktura klocków które widziałem kiedyś na Marty blogu. Były dosyć drogie i chyba niedostępne. Postanowiłem przypomnieć sobie czego mnie uczona na lekcjach pracy techniki w podstawówce. Kupiłem listewki, kawałek płyty na podstawę. Pociąłem na kawałki, wydrukowałem kolorowe figury i po naklejałem na klocki. Z wierzchu zabezpieczyłem folią samoprzylepną używaną do okładania książek.

Można je układać w różnej konfiguracji. Mieszać w kolumnach i wierszach. Większe objaśnienia chyba nie są potrzebne, gdyż widać wszystko na załączonych zdjęciach.

Geometrical figures

This activity I prepared long time ago. Today Igor found it on the shelf between other papers. He was very excited to see it again. Activity is based on matching plus gives the basic idea of shapes like their names. Circle, rectangle, square,  triangle, trapezoid and hexagon are used in my activity. I printed those shapes on two sheets, one white and one colour, laminated and cut off shapes from the colour sheet. Then as usual I used Velcro tapes. Without that everything would fly around the room.

To ćwiczenie przygotowałem dawno temu. Dzisiaj Igor wygrzebał je ze sterty innych papierów. To ćwiczenie sensoryczne, mające na celu dopasowanie kształtów i przy okazji dające podstawową wiedzę o ich nazwach. Koło, prostokąt kwadrat, trójkąt, trapez i sześciobok. Wydrukowałem figury na dwóch kartkach, z których jedna była kolorowa, zalaminowałem i wyciąłem figury z tej kolorowej. Jak zwykle użyłem taśmy rzepowej. Bez tego wszystko latałoby dookoła.

That gave us an idea and I took a look for other old activity which is about geometrical figures but in more curious way. 

To zachęciło nas aby poszukać innego starego ćwiczenia o figurach geometrycznych, jednak bardziej ciekawego.

 

Picture - Picture and Picture word matching

Igor fell in love with cars and building machines. Thanks to Marta for links. Some of them I found by myself. The best way for us is glueing one picture to folder and laminating the other one. If Igor has them both laminated he might be throwing them around and then he has problem to dig for the proper one when he finds the second pair. His temperament does not allow to put them straight in line. Glueing lets us keep them in order.

Igor zakochał się w samochodach i maszynach budowlanych. Dzięki serdeczne dla Marty za udostępnienie plików. Cześć ilustracji znalazłem samodzielnie i powstała fajna kolekcja. Najlepsza dla nas wersja dopasowywania obrazków to taka, gdy jeden z nich jest przyklejony do folderu a drugi zalaminowany. Gdy Igor ma dwa obrazki laminowane wtedy giną one w gąszczu. Jego temperament nie pozwala jeszcze na układanie je w linii.  Przyklejanie obrazków pozwala zachować jakiś porządek.

Fruts and Vegatables Flash cards

There are few examples of flash cards we used to work with at early stages of our education. I made them by myself using googled pictures in high quality. They were shown very quickly as Doman describes. Later on I used them for picture - object matching. I spread them around the living room and prepare real fruit and vegetables on the table. Igor was running around with them placing on the cards. At the end he ate the banana.
