Phone rings.....brrrrriiiinnnngggg
Me: "Hello."
Her: "Hi, it's Jenn."
Me: " Uh-oh."
Her: "Abby was doing just fine & running around outside then she came in and yacked in the hall."
Me: "Oh, great! Should I come get her or do you think she's OK to go on the bus?"
Her: "She's probably fine but you don't want her to throw up on the bus."
Me: "It will take me 40 minutes to get there, I'll hurry."
Her: "She's with the school nurse."
Me: "Thanks, bye."
Nice way to end the afternoon, don't you think?

Ugh. Did the janitor clean it up with that weird sawdust stuff?
Poor Abby. :(
Sometimes it's not bad being an "empty nester."
Poor Abby!!!!
Usually when you have to visit the school nurse it is because you are faking so you can go home and hang out with mom. Too bad she was really sick.
What is up with the sickness going around. It's that way here too. I guess even across the country Spring brings the iffy weather and the illness. I'm so sorry. I hope you guys survive
Oh. It's o.k. Kids NEVER remember when another kid throws up at school! (Brandon can name all of them, alphabetically, and numerically by the year they threw up.)
Forty five minute drive for the pick-up? Ugh. Sorry.
