Holy moley!
We found yet another mole on Abby's back that looked suspicious. I had changed dermatologists so I took her into Atlanta for a consult. The doc felt it did look funny and with her history, it should come off. Of course Abby freaked out and it was decided to go the pediatric plastic surgeon route. We made an appointment with Dr. Mackay and made arrangements for her minor procedure, to take place at Scottish Rite.
The day came and we left at 6:30am and it took us 90 minutes to get to the hospital. We got checked in, assigned a room and by 10am she was off to surgery.
Five hours later we were able to go home. All is well.
It was a lengthy and pricey way to remove a mole but much easier on the patient.
