Flower Soft - Multi Finction Die Cuts

I used the Ivory Spring Flowers and cut the top off. I then shaped my flowers from behind using a stylus and added flat-backed gems to the centers. I stamped the image from the Just a Thought Away stamp set (also available as a digital download) and colored with my copics and then matted it and adhered it to my Multi Function Die Cut piece. Using Kool Tak foam squares, I mounted the entire piece onto embossed red card stock on my base.

Now I am off to a mother/daughter weekend at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Lancaster, PA. We will be taking a couple of classes, doing a lot of shopping and working the Heartfelt Creations Booth on Saturday (say "hi" and introduce yourself if you happen by). For my card, I chose the Sailing digital stamp which I printed out and colored with Copics. I added some Ultra Fine White Flower Soft to the clouds for a little texture. The sentiment comes from the Coffee Time clear stamp set.

Flower Soft and Kool Tak - Just For You Tag

I'm not sure if you're like me but when it comes to adhesive, I can never have too much or too many different kinds. Each one serves it's purpose and depending on my project, I will reach for specific adhesives. Well today, I want to let you know about some really wonderful adhesive products from Kool Tak which are available on the Flower Soft site.

For my project today, we were challenged to use Kool Tak adhesive to make borders.  I used the Premium Pro 1/4" tape to create my lines and then added Ocean Ultra Fine Flower Soft and a little blue glitter. The tape is so easy to use and can be ripped if you don't want to hunt for your scissors; and the hold is fantastic! I also used the Decoupage 3D Foam pads to pop up my sentiment panel. I used the 1/16" size because I wanted dimension but since it is a tag, I didn't want it popped up too high. Their dimensional foam pads come in various sizes and also come in clear and black!

Flower Soft - Theatre Cards Topper

Today I have a project to show you that had me stepping out of my CAS box into what I consider Shabby Chic or maybe even Vintage.

I used one of the new downloads from Flower Soft for my focal point. The Theatre Cards are tiny works of art that you can use to make some really unique projects. I chose to print out the toppers and cut them out using two different Spellbinders dies and then layered them for a 3D decoupage effect.

Flower Soft - Sending You Love

I have a fun shaker Valentine for you today. I used one of the background papers from the Recipe for Valentines download. I used my Spellbinders Ovals to cut a hole in the paper and also to create the frame for my Display Globe.

I added some Ruby Flower Soft and heart confetti into the globe. The confetti tends to stick to the globe but it works really well with this card because it looks like the hearts are being thrown by the little boy.

Using the downloads are quick and easy and the best part is the instant gratification - you don't have to wait for your goodies to come in the mail.

I decided to use one of the Nursery Rhyme downloads for my heart shaped card.  After I printed my image, I cut out the two lambs with the heart die and added some Ultra Fine White flower soft to them for texture.  The sentiment was made in Word and cut out with one of the MFT Mini Wavy Pennants dies.

This is perfect for Valentine's day or could even be used as a gift tag. Now you are off to see what Colleen has for you.

Flower Soft - Boo

This week the Flower Soft Design Team is playing with the Halloween downloads.  Isn't this adorable?  No need to color, just download and print.  You can't get any easier than that.

I added some letters that I die cut onto a sheet of Scor-tape and added some Ultra Fine Black Flower Soft.
