Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #6 - A Sketch!

It is Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Day! Challenge number 6, and today's a wonderful sketch! Now my card... well you may need shades for this one, I don't know what I was thinking but man it ended up really really bright! LOL

This image is Rae with Journal I think she is a wonderful teen girl image. She is part of the Dani and Friends Digital set and end of this month she is one of the new STAMPS being released from Stampavie from Mo Manning's collection. I am very excited about these new stamps!! Make sure you favorite store has them pre-ordered cuz they are gonna go fast!

For the card - I started with a Bazzil Bling card stock, and then because I had colored Rae with such bright Copics, I had to find some papers that matched her "style" and Basic Grey's June Bug collection, just seemed to work out as long as you have your sun glasses on! For a couple of the mats I used some bright pink card stock, and I sewed everything down with pink thread. The vine at the bottom is from Doodle bug and then a large pink Prima flower adorns the top. It is hard to see in the photograph, but I added some sparkle to it with Spica Glitter pens - looks really cool in person, hate that things like that don't photo well.

I do hope you will join in this week for the challenge! Now pop over and see all the other DT's wonderful cards with the sketch! HERE is the link...  And guess what.. I just found out that the prize this week is going to be special.. you tell what you would like Mo to draw and then YOU get to name it!! How cool is that!

Have a wonderful day... me... working around the house, and in my craft room :0)

What a bad cold!

Hi - I found this card in my stash, one of the last that is a "spare" for emergencies - We all know my life the last few weeks... I have pretty much used up all my cards now! LOL! Anyway - this is one of the last - and man is it fitting for me the last week! I finally am getting over this cold, but there for a while I went from room to room with that box of tissues! And this is EXACTLY how I looked and felt! But I think I am all better now.. I actually have left the box of tissues in the other room of the house and I am not panicking about it! LOL

This is one's of Mo's images - from Mo's Digital Pencil, and is called Swine Flu how funny is this "little piggie"

It has been so long ago that I made this one... I don't know many of the details. The papers are I believe from DCWV, but not for sure. The brads are Doodlebug Sugared Brads.

Sorry for the lack of details - Now I have to go and get dressed, today is MIL Shopping Day, it has been a few weeks since I have taken her for her errands. She was sick, helping with the room addition, then I was sick, but things are starting to level out and look better around here and I promised to take her today.... before I found out it is a holiday. OH MAN it is going to be soooo crowded! I tried to postpone her until tomorrow, but nope... she wants to go today. So lots of people, lots of cars, lots of waiting... one good thing though, we are going to have lunch while out Chinese Food, yum yum. The only way we get Chinese food is to go on our own without Hubby, he doesn't like it. So we have decided we deserve a nice lunch out. :0)

Hope you have a wonderful day - I'll be in line at the mall LOL

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #5 - All Glittery!

Mo time! And today at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge we are all Glittery - Sparkling even! The challenge this week is to add at least 3 different kind of Glitter or Sparkle to your project. Well we all love a little Bling so this one is going to be fun!

For me this was a great time to use Kai in the Snow! Snow is shiny and glittery! Especially when you cover it in Stickles! :0) I colored with my Copics - and the sky is colored with Twinkling H20's - love the shimmer that brings.

Now for added sparkle, the paper is from Heidi Grace and has a really pretty sparkle to it. I added a mat to the image of white card stock punched with one of the brand new Martha Stewart corner/border punches, I believe this is one called eyelet lace. Pretty huh?

The ribbon across the middle is another bit of sparkle, has a silver that runs through it, then in the bow I added a bridal "diamond" to the knot. Scary sometimes how real these fake things look - but really adds a sparkle to the center of the bow! Then for just one more glitter I added two snow flake ornaments to the corner, these are mini ornaments that I got from Hobby Lobby - for those little tiny trees. Perfect sizes for cards and really great sparkle.

This is a close up so you can see the snow and the sky twinkling - I really love this challenge just wish it was easier to photograph.. LOL

Now pop on over to Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and see all the DT's glittering cards and then hopefully you will join us and sparkle yourself! We all know that Mo's images are too fun to work with!

HUGs and Happy Thursday!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sketch time -

hello - today is A Spoon Full of Sugar time and this week we have a sketch by fellow DT Sonja - a wonderful sketch and perfect for a new image I just got from MO's Digital Pencil - As Soon as I saw this one I had to have it, that same day a neighbor's sheep had quads! So I just had to have it! This is Saturday's Child -
I colored with my Copics and cut out with my circle Nesties -

To follow the sketch I started with a base card stock of Vintage Core'dination. My pattern papers are from DCWV Farmers Market - really cute new papers! And then do you love that punched border or what???? That is Martha Stewarts new deeper punch trellis - really a HUGE punch. between the new HUGE border punches and all of the new corner border sets that have been released... I may go broke! LOL

I sewed down my pattern papers - following the sketch. The large flower is a EK Success Retro flower punch, Martha Frond leaves and a button center. Was a really fun sketch to work with - now you must pop over to the Spoon Full of Sugar blog and see how the other DT worked with it, and maybe join in.. great prize again :0)

Mo's Digital Challenge #4!!! Fancy Folds -

Wow!! It has been a month since Mo's Digital Challenge started up? Seriously! Time has just flown by this month! Well Sandy the October DT host has asked up to make fancy folds - anything other than the normal folding A2 card -

Now, somewhere is all of this mess - I have a pattern for some really neat folded cards. Since I found out about this challenge I just knew that was what my plan was - when I got a chance to sit down and work on my card - well I can't find it in any of the stacks.. boxes or piles of craft stuff! So I just had to wing something and I know this isn't very creative - but well... my MOJO seems to also be packed up!!

For my image I was so excited to use one of Mo's newest images. This is Friday's Child. Have you seen her children of the week images? Oh they are all wonderful! But this one just really jumped out to me - isn't she beautiful! I adore her dress - really fun to color. I used my Copics - and then Spica Glitter Pens.. hard to see in the photo I know, but she has a sparkle to her dress!

Now for the "folds"... I started with a standard 6x6 card stock base, then a second just the same and flipped in over so one opened to the left and one to the right. Does that make sense? I then cut out Friday's Child and attached her to the left fold. I then found a piece of cloud paper and attached it to the right fold. Both sides were cut out around the shapes.

On the clouds I used the Greeting Farms sentiment Whimsical Wishes - I doodled around the edges with a Spica Glitter pen and stickled the clouds.

For the inside of the card I used some new Cosmo Cricket papers - Earth Love. Really pretty collection, I got the 6x6 pad - may have to get another! I doodled the edge of it, added some buttons at the top, and the corner rounded the sentiment mats - and that sentiment....

Again from Greeting farm - I love it!

Now pop on over to Mo's Digital Challenge and see some really GREAT folded cards! Oh and in case you missed my post yesterday - there are links to some great free Mo's images!

Have a wonderful Thursday - me... we are suppose have lots of rain today - but Hubby and I are suppose to be inside working on the addition so we will be inside dry - I can see an light at the end of tunnel!!! This addition is going to be really wonderful in a very short time! I know I have been saying that for a while now.. but you know how these things go... :0)

Bella is hoppin ! Want Mo's Freebies???

Yep... at the end of this post there are links to free Mo images! But first a card....

Hi... this is such a fun image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Hoppin Happy I love working with all of Mo's images, and Bella and Bronte are just a small part of the wonderful images there -

I colored with my copics. Then her tutu was just calling out for some bling - so out came the stickles and I glittered it! Really sparkles in person.
For my card - I kept it simple - I loved the vibrant colors in the image and wanted it to pop on the card. And well.. I don't have a lot of my embellishments out where they are easy to work with! LOL still packed up so much waiting for the move. I used a white card stock as the base and then found more scraps from my stash. You know when you papers are all over the house and not around to use.. the scrap box become very useful! I took a piece of the white card stock and punched the edge - I took one of the patterns and cut it with my circle cutter - found it while moving stuff around - I am sure I will be using tools I haven't seen in over a year now! For a sentiment I just couldn't find the right size or saying. Then I remembered some Martha Stewart Ribbons I got on clearance, the green Congratulations was perfect - I ran it through the center of the image, and around the edge of the pattern paper.

So how many of Mo's images do you have now? Want some??? for free???? here is some info for you!!!

Mo's Digital Challenge with NO CARDS!

OH my I get so excited on Thursdays now! It is MO's Digital Challenge day! I have fallen head over heals in love with Mo's stuff - have you been there to see her stuff! I am sure you have... but if not pop over HERE and take a look and see... bet you go nuts too!

Now to this week's challenge - we were asked to make anything but a card! Now sometimes that really stumps me. As I am just the last couple of months learning how to do 3-d things and make things other than a "normal" card. Well I went through my MO's digital folder to decide which image I wanted to use... I have just started my collection... so I don't have a whole bunch. Folder is growing though! Well my first and one of my favorites images called out - Sumpin's Wrong. Is this just the cutest baby or what?

Now one of the great things about Digital's I am finding is that you can make it the size you need. And I went large on this one. (And colored with my Copics)

This is a gift bag. A chipboard bag that I purchased a few weeks ago. I liked that it is hard sided. I covered it with some of my favorite papers.. DCWV Nanna's baby boy Nursery. I sanded and inked the edges with purple ink. And then ran ribbon across the two patterns of paper, then lace across the top. I untied the handles and added large eyelets - looked more finished. Then I added three mulberry purple roses and some Martha Stewart frond leaf punches.
I added some gift bag filler into the bag - loved how it picked up all the purple cuz it is clear. And you can see.. perfect size for bottles as gifts :0)

Now please do visit the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and see the wonderful items that the DT came up with!!! And join us with our fun! If you don't have any of MO's images... it is instant gratification to purchase them... you can be coloring in minutes!

Craft room update!!!! The flooring went in yesterday!!!! It is so gorgeous! Hubby really has spoiled me! Now just the walls and a bit of trim work and I am in!!! Have a wonderful Thursday!

Would you Share your Cookie?

I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it! Mo.. you rock! I think every image that comes out is my favorite, and then here she comes with a new one and I fall in love! I think he is just too cute for words!Colored with my copics of course :0)

I then used a piece of Core'dinations Vintage Card stock for the base and the mats. The yellow and pattern paper is a double sided sheet - I think it might be My Minds Eye.. but I can't find the sheet in my boxes of stuff... oh my this place is a mess with all my stuff all over the house.. one more week.. one more week.. then hopefully I will be able to move into my craft room! :0)

I sewed down the one pattern and used a ribbon to tie around the center - The word Friends is cut with my MM Slice.

And don't forget that MO's Digital Pencil Challenge is up and running! Visit it HERE

Sorry so short today... Sunday breakfast with the locals at the little cafe... gotta run! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - with MO!

I am here! and hooked up! Well temporary but here.. Having my computer all set up on a folding table.... very scary! But Hubby says it is for a short time.. oh I so hope so cuz every time I print something - the entire table shakes and freaks me out!

Ok now onto business - today is A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge day, and today is a wonderful sketch by DT Caryn, and the sponsor is MO from Mo's Digital Pencil - she even supplied us with a image to use on our cards! Cool huh?

I picked Duck Day.. I don't know if it was the ducks or that adorable rain coat and boots! :0) I colored with my Copics.

I then followed the sketch and found papers in my scraps - now I must tell you this week is going to be a whole another challenge for me... a limited supplies challenge! OH my if you could only see my crafting area... I do hope Hubby is right and this is all going to be over soon! My stuff is stacked all over the house! He just thought I took up a lot of our bedroom with my craft corner.. cuz now I am everywhere!! LOL

To finish off my card instead of bows on the band across the middle I used two of my MIL's crocheted flowers -with button centers.

There are lots of wonderful cards at Spoon Full of Sugar this week.. and the prize is a gift certificate for MO's Digital Pencil :0).

Thanks for hanging in this week... with all of the working on addition, things are really up in the air. And my craft time is just not there, but hey... all of this work will be a craft room that I can work in so it is worth it! This weekend we got tons done.. we are hoping over the next week or so to get the trim installed -paint - put the flooring in - and then just finishing touches and I am moving in! That is the plan at least :0)

Hope you are having a great week -

Mummu's Dancing!

This image was a have to for me. She looks just like Hubby's Grandmother! Everyone of MO's Digital Pencil Mummu's remind me so much of her... and when I showed them to Hubby it was the very first thing he said. I had a hard time deciding which to use first Mummu on the bicycle or her dancing - I decided the dancing -

Isn't she gorgeous?

I colored with my copics and then inked the edges. My pattern papers are from Prima - I found three patterns and inked the edges. They were all sewed together. A piece of brown ribbon for the corner, then a mulberry rose and Martha Stewart branch punches. The sentiment is from Hampton Art - and is PERFECT for Mummu! Hope you enjoy her as much as I do - and make sure to visit Mo's Digital Pencil to see all of her fabulous images, including Mummu!

We are running errands this morning - getting some of the paint for my room :0)... not totally ready for it yet, but we have decided to paint the ceiling before we bring the flooring in and open the doorway into the house.. saving Libbie as long as we can... don't want her little rear end skirt in wet paint! LOL Then tonight we pick my Sister's family up from the airport - their Disney adventure is all over.. but it sounds like they have had a great time.

Hope you have a wonderful Thursday... HUGS and-

End of Summer... love this image -

This was the first image I fell in love with a MO's Digital Pencil. I really don't know why other than maybe I have really been looking so forward to the End of Summer.. LOL no seriously - I think it is the wind - I love her hair blowing in the wind and all of the flowers. Just a peaceful image. OH and this image is a digital at Mo's site but it will be released from Stampavie this November as a clear stamp!! Cool huh!

I have colored with my Copics -

For the card I used My Minds Eye Gypsies Baby collection on a turquoise blue Core'dinations card stock. On one side of the image I used the EK Success border punch on scrap white card stock. I ran a dark pink gingham ribbon thru the other side and wrapped around the card. Everything is sewed down. Then Mulberry flowers and Martha branch punches are added to the corner. A simple card - but the image is so wonderful I really wanted it to be the main focus and pop.

Wow it is Wednesday already... My sister's family vacation at Disney World is over today... just one last day of fun... hope they are having fun. I have gotten a few photos on my camera.... they look like they are :0)

Have a great day -
