Hey everyone I'm just popping in to share some Blogger changes with you. Some of you may have noticed that every time you leave a comment on
my blog, or even in a private DT blog and possibly other places where you never used to have fill in a CAPTCHA, that you are suddenly required to prove
you are not a
robot. Well I can guarantee with this blog anyway, that word verification is still OFF.
From the research I've
done, it apparently has to
do with the third party cookie filters in regards to the recently added
Google One account logins. The suggestions were to enable (stop
filtering) "third party cookies", in our browser and on our computer.
Now I don't know about you, but I'm not really comfortable with changing that feature. I was secretly hoping Google would
fix things. HOWEVER, I have just learned there is a way around it. Thanks to Helen from Crafting Helen, who suggested to just leave the CAPTCHA area empty and simply click the 'publish your comment' button anyway. So, far I've done exactly that on four separate comments I've left on different blogs and they have all been published.
Just thought I'd share this with you in case
you're experiencing the same frustrations. Hopefully, Blogger won't
realize the mistake and we'll continue to be able to it this way.
Until next time,
