Play More....

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch!  For my card I was inspired by the hot temps and inked up Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Sandy and her Sombrero.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics. I used a clear glaze pen on the drink glass and the lenses on the glasses.  For some bling on the bathing suit and sunglass frames I used a jelly roll pen.  I shaded around the image with Tim Holtz Distress ink in scattered straw.  The dp is EP's So happy together.  For the flags I used MFT's fishtail banner stax die-namics.

I carried the fishtail banner stax onto the inside of the card

It's TOO nice to be Winter....

Yep the weather here is way too nice for this weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme - Winter in July!!

For my card I inked up Uptown Girl Quinn in her Boots.  The image is stamped onto bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured with copics.  I then decided to paper piece her coat, scarf, hat and skirt with MME's Winter Wonderlands dp.  I then took a page out of Mary's book and cut the image out.  The sentiment is from another Uptown Girl image - Uptown Girl Eve under the Mistletoe.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the Winter in July creations.  Next week it's sketch week! Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and for a chance to win some bella bucks

Anniversary Wishes

Today is my wedding anniversary and I wanted to share the card I made for hubby.  Originally I had thought I'd use a sweet Stamping Bella image such as I carry your Heart with me Duda or Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan under the Umbrella, but then I remembered I had a stamp from Riley and Company's Funny Bones line.....

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock.  I used MFT's oval stax die-namics to cut the sentiment out.  The dp is basic greys knee-high.  For the hearts I used MFT's die-namcis LJD Rustic Hearts.

See you tomorrow for Bellariffic Fridays!!

Its A Sweet Sunday....

OK this is the card I mistakenly posted for SSSC187 - but thankfully my wonderful friend Leslie gave me the heads up so I quickly got it down before I hit the golf course!  I had visions of making a new card for this week but.....

I'm back today with Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch (SSSC188).  I was at my LSS and saw some of the Funny Bones stamps from Riley and Company and this one made me laugh and I have so many friends I can send this card to!

The image is stamped on cream cardstock with memento tuxedo black ink.  I distressed around the sentiment with antique linen distress ink.  The dp is an old MME (I'm trying to revisit some of my older 6x6 pads!) Chic Indie - Ginger.  The scallop is MFTs Simply Scallops Small die-namics.  The flower is MFT's Flower Medley die-namics.

We have 2 new Sweet Sunday Stampers - Jodi Collins and Lisa Henke!! Please stop by theirs and the  rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations and if you play along with remember to link your card on Karen's Blog

Button up....

Happy Friday - wow the week flew by.  I've had company so not much stamp time for me this week BUT I did find time to play along with with weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge - BUTTON UP!!

I inked up I carry your heart with me by Diane Duda with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock and coloured the image with copics.  The paper pieced her dress with basic grey's kneehighs dp.  On the outline of the heart I used a pink gelly roll pen and of course I added some buttons in the corner

Mimi....

I'm back today with my Bellariffic Friday card - this week we had a sketch and I flipped the sketch so I could ink up one of my new Stamping Bella images MIMI the Chick misses you.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cardstock.  Her bag and boots are coloured with copics; the rest is coloured with caran d'ashe pencils blended with gamsol. On her tie and stocks I used pink and turquoise gelly roll pens.

The dp is MME's Stella & Rose Gertie.  I decorated the inside of the card with the dp - the sentiment that goes with this image is perfect!!

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations.  We are sad to say that Pauline, who has been a babe for 3 years is having to step down.  We are very sad to see her go!!

Next week's theme is Button UP! Add buttons to your card.  Remember to email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks!
