CR84FN Color Challenge! Thanks to all who played along with last week's color combo ~ so many wonderful cards to see and many thanks to all of you who take time to leave such sweet comments!
I would like to take a moment to thank our Guest Designer, Deb Hickman for all of her hard work and weekly inspiration over the past month :)
This week we are playing with
GARNET,
CHARTREUSE AND
CREAM. The beautiful color graphic was created using photos courtesy of
Adam at embrace life photography.
Once again, I turned to some gorgeous
Webster's Pages patterned paper and many of my favorite other papercrafting supplies to create my card.
I stamped a label from
Waltzingmouse Very Vintage Labels No. 18 using a
S4-310 Labels Eighteen die template to cut/emboss the beautiful image then layered a gorgeous Prima flower on top along with a few leaves made using
S4-321 Nested Leaves die templates.
To create the tag, I stamped the WITH LOVE sentiment from
Waltzingmouse Seasons Of Love - Tags using a
S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennants die template to cut/emboss the image and attached it to a beautiful bow made using Vanilla Bean Vintage crinkly ribbon Courtesy of
Kimberly @ My Craft Spot.

Initially, I thought these colors would be quite a challenge but after seeing your little masterpiece, you make it look so easy! I love the different layers and textures and the subtle distressing! And that Prima rose ties it all together to the challenge pallet so perfectly! You are amazing!

Mona, this is so gorgeous! I think that beautiful vintage label is such a pretty frame for the gorgeous Prima flower! I love how you used only subtle greens and thus kept an elegant design! That beautiful garnet flower is a super focal point!

Another beautiful card. I love all of the wonderful elements of this card; the printed paper, the bow, the flower, the die cuts. You have a way of putting things together that don't over power the card. Even that garnet flower seems to be soft on your card. I love the webster papers, but can't seem to make them work. You create such beautiful cards even with every paper you use. Love them all!
