After 6 1/2 years, CAS Mix Up is closing permanently.
Thank you to all that played along with us. It's been a joy to visit your blogs throughout the years. All of us at CAS Mix Up have enjoyed seeing your creative cards using all different mixed media techniques.

On to the winners of the last challenge at CAS Mix Up ...
Thanks to everyone who took part in our September challenge to use gesso with your stencils. I just loved seeing and visiting all the examples, I have learnt some more things about using gesso in the process. The hardest thing about being challenge host is choosing the winner and top picks, but a decision had to be made.

Michele has let the gesso shine by layering it up with her tree stencils to create
the most wonderful texture, adding glitter to the final layer
makes it sparkle and shine.

I am so sad to see this challenge finish as it has certainly made me delve into some technique areas which otherwise I'm sure I would never have tried, and the inspiration over the years from Loll and everybody, including guests and all the DT members over the years, has been phenomenal! I know that things do have to change but I will be keeping a close eye on you all and wish you all the best with your crafty futures here in Blogland. xx

I've learned a lot of techniques and I'll definitely revisit the challenge site in the future to get inspired again (and again) and to review the techniques. I was honored to be a Designer for one and half years, and the CAS Challenges have been a big part of my crafting life. Thank you all for the wonderful inspiration every month!
