Crafters Companion's pen storage

Could this be the ultimate pen storage?
It is made by Crafters Companion (UK craft company but available in the USA too) and  they say it will accommodate any pen type available right now in the craft market. It certainly looks great and has all the interlocking and arranging ways that a crafter would want.

For more info, click here.

Ps, this is NOT a sponsored post! I haven't tried the system myself (yet) so I can't really comment on it just yet.

Sharon's Promarker storage

I will let Sharon do the talking:
I finally have my custom made Promarker storage unit, and I'm really pleased with it. We're just getting a small initial order made up first, until we see how much interest there is, but I know that lots of the ladies that come to my classes will want one as we use Promarkers in the class a lot.
If this is successful then I have plans to get him designing storage for lots of other crafty products!
You can find more info on Sharon's blog here.

Sharon's Promarkers storage idea

Saron uses an acrylic desk pot with partitions from Muji, the great japanese store with shops in Europe, USA, Japan and, of course, available online. A similar option is what I have been using for a while, although mine is a bit wider so it has some restrictions, check it here.

Shirley's Promarker/Copic idea

Shirley's idea is superb. Funnily enough I always glanced over this Ikea DVD storage rack, but never quite figured what they could be useful for apart from the obvious DVDs.
Shirle's husband made her this Promarker/Copic cabinet. He cut the trays into 3 and this is what he made. It measures 14" wide and 11" high.

Suzanne's Stamping room

Love it! I will let Suzanne explain it.

All my cabinets except those on the right wall are built on casters and actually roll into different configurations so that I can change the floor plan when I have friends over for classes.  The walls are a pale yellow and the floor is a dark black hardwood.  All trim and cabinets are white. The tile on the cabinet tops are 16 inch floor tile and are not fastened down so that I can change the configuration of the cabinets as I like.  The words on the walls are vision, art, dream, and imagination. I hope you enjoy looking at my space - I have enjoyed showing it off.

Wendy studio ideas

I will let Wendy explain:
This is the view looking at the craft room from the window, I could not decide what colour to paint, greens, pinks, lilac were all on my mind but went for plain old white, it does make the room a lot brighter.
I will give you a detail photo and description of each area as we go around the room.

I these little drawers I keep all my promarkers, I have labels on with the colours in each drawer

Promarker storage

Finding suitable storage for the pens which are popular at the moment can prove to be a tricky task. The storage which is purpose built is often not quite what you're after, and is often expensive too.

Gina from the Promarker Workshops blog has made her own storage, using an idea originally by Camilla. A cheap DVD unit is the starting point, plus some empty DVD cases. Storing promarkers like this is better for the pens, they should always be stored horizontally, not vertically. You can also adapt the size of the storage to suit the number of pens you have, maybe choosing a smaller DVD unit if you have yet to increase your pen collection.

Gina used a colour chart created by her friend Debbi, and on the promarker blog she is happy to email out copies, so I am sure that offer is still open. Click on the link on her blog for more details.
I think this storage looks great, and at £7.99 for the DVD rack, plus 14 empty DVD cases, it is hardly breaking the bank!
