Susan's custom crafting table

The table is at the heart of any craft room, and many of us have spent days, months, or even years searching for the perfect one. Susan over at Cards, Quilts, and Kittys took matters into her own hands - and came up with a custom table that suits her needs perfectly!

There are many more great elements to Susan's craft room. Here's a photo of the entire room:

One of my favourite pieces is the antique dental cabinet (on the far left) that houses her wood-mounted stamps. When she purchased it from an antiques market, it was LIME green!
Cruise on over to Susan' blog and see even more photos: Cards, Quilts and Kittys. Be sure to tell her Crafty Storage sent you!

Cherry's Scrappy Cottage

I will let Cherry explain her Scrappy Cottage:
It is an 11x11 cottage in the back yard. My husband had it built for me so I could have a place all my own. I just think he was tired of all the girly stuff inside the house.

I love shabby chic, it is such a restful look. This is a place that I can create, dream and pray in.
The antique doll buggies were in my closet for sometime, I just could not get rid of them. So if I was going to keep them they had to be use, so that is how they became my ribbon storage.
I was talking to my dad about needing a girly pen holder, so he made these, and I think they go perfect in the space.

gm glimmerglass Studio

Oh my goodness golly. When I first saw the AMAZING studio over at gm glimmerglass, I was stunned. Speechless, really.

We all love to keep our crafty areas organized, but that often turns into a very practical decor. Lots of drawers and plastic and labels. That often clashes with our sense of colour, space, and aesthetics. Genevieve has found the best of both worlds, weaving soft colours, lots of texture, and most of all, warmth into her craft studio.(photo courtesy of gm glimmerglass)

In her own words:

"Working in a little shoebox of a studio, I try to maximize every inch of space while keeping things visually clear. I've kept the walls "very vanilla" which provides me with a calm surround for some of the eye-popping, intensely colored artwork that comes outa here."

Hop over to Genevieve's blog to see all the photos, and hear more about her amazing room! There are two posts: Let's Get this Party Started and Zoom and Enhance. Look for her cool marker storage idea and don't miss Godzilla wearing pearls! :D

Lisa Itatani's studio

In her own words: I remodeled our garage after I found this great apothecary counter at a local auction house. It was too big to fit into my house, so had to go into the garage. After a month of remodeling, it has a new home. I will be putting in some tables after I finish unpacking all the boxes. You can her work and read about her life here.
