Valentine's Day with Abby & Jed

Hi Everybuddy, dog oh dog was I excited to see Abby arrive in Oz.  Jed too of course, he's a good bloke, but it was his Sissy, Legal Beagle Extraordinaire, who I was hanging out to see.  

We picked them up from the Airport and brought them straight home. 

We took them sightseeing near our town.

This is the Giant Rocking Horse.  It is part of a toy factory.

It's a big attraction for families.

  Dad decided to fire up the BBQ and wanted to make Jed and Abby welcome.

 

  

We invited a few of the locals over too.

Hey, is that Jed and Abby? 

 Mummy, how come they talk funny?

Don't be rude bub, they're friends from America.

G'Day Mate.

After a feed of snags, chops, bacon and chicken wings, mum whipped up this pavlova dessert.  Gee she's good.

 

 

After lunch, I took Miss Abby to my place.  Mum is away working on The Ghan, but being the responsible mum she is, I had been tutored a while ago and knew exactly how to treat a lady.   Also Jed had a little chat and told me his sissy was a good girl.  I agreed, she sure was.  We watched the new Aussie movie  Red Dog.  Abby loved it and had a bit of a cry at the end.  It was ok though, I had tissues ready and a shoulder to lean on.

The day seemed to zoom by and before we knew it Jed was flying home to make sure his mum was ok.

 See ya mates

 

and Abby was off for a bit of R&R  travelling on the Ghan with Lisa, going to Darwin and then to Sydney.

Sometimes I can be a bit of a clown!

Abby, will you be my Valentine?

Abby, the party of the second part, accepts Tyler's, the party of the first part's, offer for Abby to be Tyler's Valentine and agrees, as consideration in full, to accompany Tyler on a Valentine's Day Date.

Oh Abby, I love it when you talk legal to me!

Hey Uncle Jed, if Abby and Tyler are going on a Valentine's Day Date, why don't you come over and keep us company.

 Please???

Pretty please???

 What the heck, why not!

Look out Oz, here I come.

Abby, are you finished packing yet?

What?

Just one more bag?  Oh dear dog.
