I love these two fabrics.....

First, I must say I got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday from a fellow blogger whom I consider a real friend. She'd prefer I not blog about it....so I won't, but I hope she knows I appreciate the gift (even though it was unnecessary for her to send it to me).

Now.......I have to say, I just LOVE these two fabrics. I plan to use them in a set of reversible placemats for my kitchen for part of the holiday season. Aren't they pretty fabrics? (Click to look at the detail.)

And...I spoke too soon yesterday. My granddaughter was to have gone back to school then, but she woke up with more problems. She went to the doctor and has bronchitis now. They said many kids are getting "piggyback" illnesses after the flu......so she is now on med for that and hopes to get back to school tomorrow.

Oh, I hope she snaps back from the bronchitis quickly. I am so sorry to hear that she is still not 100%.

These are lovely fabrics that will make very nice placemats. Ask Kaye for the pattern -- I'm the lucky recipient of her placemat giveaway, and I love them. My grandson who also gets asthma when sick had the same bug over the weekend. He's doing well now though, and went back to school yesterday.

Poor Jessie, unfortunately when you have those tendecys bronchities happens very easily. I am like that and unfortunately Brandon takes after me. They got her early, she should be okay once the meds are in her system. Love that material, a nice change from the reds, greens and maroons

Poor Jesse, she must be getting so tired of this. How's her Mom doing?
And the fabrics are just gorgeous. Just your style. I'm starting to see that.

Oh, nice fabrics. I am most partial to the one with the white flowers...

Sorry she is still sick. Darn. This is the WORST flu season - the ERs are packed! We had a school principal on the news and they had 19% (almost 200 students) out at the same time!

I love Christmassy fabrics, too, especially if they're not overtly Christmas or covered in cartoonish characters. Those two are just gorgeous!

Poor Jessi. It takes such a long time to shake this flu. I hope she's getting lots of rest and is feeling better soon!
