Hello Readers,
Its time for another tutorial. Remember (some 12 days back!) twirly skirt made for self - Take a look . I had vowed to make one for my sister and another for DD. Completed sister's then and there; sudden break of 10 days followed and got back to sewing ways today! Finished my DD's skirt and took snaps to make a short little tute.

Before we delve into sewing part of it, lets see the construction for the tiered skirt, it is pretty simple to make.
You can either use a pattern or make one without a pattern (if the fabric is bit stretchy like mine, seersucker)
In this case lets do it without a pattern - my favorite way! ( I shall later do a tutorial on basic skirt sloper and then possibly do variations in which tiered skirt will be covered as well)

If you want it more twirly then multiply it by 3 or even 4 times depending on your requirements and fabric availability

Gather Tier 1 - SORRY Forgot to take a separate picture, then move on to next step in pic

You can have as many tiers as desired and tweak this Tutorial to suit your needs. Hope you all twirl around in nice tiered skirts!
Here is my skirt with 3 layers
