Confederate soldiers killed.
--Five soldiers belonging to the 8th Georgia regiment were killed yesterday by a shell from a battery of the enemy located on the Charles City road. The Reporter saw at the office of the Assistant Provost Marshal, G. W. Alexander, a part of the shell that caused the mischief, and also the barrel of a musket which was in the hands of one of the unfortunate Georgians. It had been cut into by the shell and the stock broken in pieces.
