Remembrances for Absent friends.

--We learn that arrangements have been perfected on the Central Railroad, by which the lady friends and others of the gallant First Regiment can send to the soldiers such substantial and delicacies as they may be enabled to get together ready for transmission by to-morrow morning. The Regiment is now stationed at Fairfax Court-House, and the ‘ "boys"’ composing it will no doubt be delighted to receive evidences of regard from the ‘"old folks at home,"’ as they stand in need of nicknacks. The arrangement for conveying the articles to them has been made by a lady. The conductor of the train will take charge of and deliver edibles and other articles that may be sent.
