The New York Zouaves.
--It is stated that the New York Fire Zouaves acknowledge to the truth of Col. Beintzelman's report of their having been thrown into a momentary confusion during the battle at Bull Run, stating that it was caused by a ‘"masked battery"’ furiously opening upon them at the commencement of the action, quite unexpectedly; but add, that a large number, after retreating a short distance, reformed, and fought through the nation while some who had presented in a greater distance, joined sixty-ninth had other regiments, and remained with them.
