Rev. Mr. Begas.
Among the Southern clergymen who have girded on the sword at the call of patriotism, none has more distinguished himself than Rev. Mr. Begas of this city, now a Captain in the Southern Army. We hear his conduce as a military leader and his splendid courage is the Lite battle at Bull's Run, spoken of in the highest terms. A braver and better man cannot be found in the embattled hosts who are defending our country.
