--On Thursday night last, a white man, who gave his name as Patrick Casion, made his appearance at the first station-house, and finding officer Boze in attendance, demanded to be locked up for the night, and to be put to work the next morning. He said he had no money and nowhere to stay, and wished to be sent to the work-house. Yesterday morning, when called before the Mayor, Pat seemed to have changed his mind not a whit, and his Honor therefore accommodated him by turning him in with the chain gang.
