Paris,may 12, 1861.

--In yesterday's sitting, a discussion took place on the petition demanding the revision of the maritime convention between England and France. The committee proposed to refer the petition to the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Marine and Commerce, which was supported by Admiral Cecil, and opposed by M. Michell, Chevallier and M. Barouche.
