Does the postoffice actually come to a…

Does the postoffice actually come to a property anymore. Had to items showing delivered but no postman ever came close to the property (should see it on video). No red card left to collect twice! Items returned and i have to pay for delivery 3rd time now. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will now send an item to myself to log a case for the ombudsman!

Golders Green branch - horrible staff

In Golders Green branch Post Office the staff is absolutely careless, treating people just like numbers. They don't bother to listen to details of a situation, do not bother to accommodate needs. Pretending to work "by the book" when it comes to an extra cm to a parcel size and sending people back without at least suggesting an option. And other times they just talk among themselves, moving in slow motion when the queue is very long.
I would only use Evri or other companies to deliver parcels, but never again Royal Mail.

Post Office, Barrow, Suffolk

The Post Office new location is now within the village supermarket Matt and though it is quite cramped inside they were determined to provide this service for the villagers. Initially the staff were unfamiliar with their role but they soon embraced the new role with great enthusiasm and efficiency. They are truly remarkable and very helpful and yesterday when l tried to post a recorded letter, l entered the incorrect post code but the post lady immediately use her own phone to trace the correct postcode. They are the best and the most friendly and jolly people. l really adore them.

Online savings

So antiquated. You cannot communicate by email or chat, only by post or over the phone. They communicate everything by post. It’s such a slow process by the time you receive a letter it’s already out of date. Was given incorrect information over the phone twice. Couldn’t get my money out of the savings account quick enough.

Everything to do with this business is…

Everything to do with this business is not fit for purpose. From the so called tracking information, which doesn’t work until they’ve attempted to deliver the item for some strange reason, to the constant mistakes by the people who are supposed to be doing the delivering. The whole thing is pathetic.

Devastated

Posted most of my dog grooming kit to be sharpened by a company while I was away for a few days(first time away since 2016) cannot afford to buy spare kit but thought it would be back to me ready for work after my days away. Royal Mail have gone and lost my parcel with all my kit in and I believe its because the clerk at Birstall post office didn’t stick the label on properly (I pointed this out but he didn’t seem to care) Can’t believe I’ve lost all my kit and they don’t seem to care or try search for it. devastated as can’t afford to replace these items and bet compensation won’t pay out much.

Orpington High Street Post Office
Staff are completely clueless and vile. Terrible customer service. The staff (including a manager) didn’t even know their own company policies. Wouldn’t accept ID that is listed on the site and email. I had to show them their own website with the list of valid ID and they still they didn’t understand, listen or release my parcel. Rude and incompetent.

Terrible service as usual

I went to one of the post offices to return an item bought from Amazon via Royal Mail.

The guy at the counter was very rude and refused flatly to take the item claiming that he did not have any bag for Amazon and appeared to be instructing me to cancel the return arrangement. He did not apologise for not providing the service the post office supposed to and kept claiming Amazon and his attitude was simply disgusting.

I contacted Amazon to change the return method from Royal Mail to Everi and the collection point for Everi, which was actually another post office, was much nicer.

The original post office should stop dealing with Amazon if they keep their mediocre services.

Rip off merchants

Rip off merchants. Paid them £90 for a redirection 2 months ago and have since moved again. They wouldn't give me a refund and expect me to pay anothrr £90 for a new divert. That's £180 in total.

Home insurance via post office…

Home insurance via post office they managed to lock me out of my account, I managed to get it up and running states my renewal starts 22 July on quote, yet my renewal date wasn’t until the 8th of August he then said I’d get an email about renewal date so I’d need to wait until the 7th July, 28 day thing. But couldn’t cancel until I’d received it. Talk about useless.

Poor experience, these people are in the wrong jobs!

I visited the Post Office Warren Estate in Frimley to collect an Evri parcel. The chap behind the counter said ‘the Post Office is closed’! So I said ‘why can’t you do it’? and he just shrugged his shoulders. I looked at the shelf next to the chap where the Evri parcels were stacked, but it was clearly too much trouble for him! I was not sure why the Post Office had to be open as the rest of the grocery shop was. Tesco never has this problem.

Paid for all customs charges then they…

Paid for all customs charges then they gave me a delivery day and date but did not deliver on time.they are quick to take your money but do not deliver the goods, yet again a terrible service from the post office.

Should be no stars

Should be no stars. Delivery been sent to God knows where. The contact page on the website just takes you in circles doesn't even have a phone number.
No card and in the delivery picture the postbox is defiantly not on my street.

Woodthorpe Post Office York closing early due to slacker working late shift

I came to use Woodthorpe post office, York at 7.30pm and it wasn't supposed to close until 8pm. But guess who has shut the post office early again it’s Sue!. How can I rely on a post office that has lazy workers working in it?. The latest excuse is the horizon system was rebooting?. It’s time this worker is sorted out.

Royall Mail robbers

I would only give no stars for the poor service given. I sent a parcel quoted at £2.70 from Ebay send it to my customer for them to be told it was at there local office and my customer had to pay £3.50 extra charge on top of the £2.70 paid. I worked out the difference was .80p! I put in a complaint to be told it was my fault as the package was 1cm over size! I could not believe it so in nthe end it cost me £6.30 to send a shirt in a plastic bag...you are a chuffing joke Royal Mail your online complaints site is a joke!

I would like to take this opportunity…

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rita and Naren at the Royal Wootton Bassett post office, who was very helpful and kind towards me with my passport application and ,who both were absolutely amazing with their service and helpfulness, when there was a big queue of customers....I give them both 10 out of 10 for going above and beyond. Not delivered stuck in the system. no response…

Not delivered stuck in the system, over 60 minutes wait to complain.
followed the form on line went round in circles time after time. then that what they want isn't it .
impossible to make a compliant about there services
guaranteed next working day going into 5 days not including the weekend . this is the last time I will use them for any post office service, its cheaper to drive 125 mile to deliver.
think there trying to commit suicide to kill the company to avoid the post office scandal

Not fit for purpose

I go to the main sorting office for my area to post my mail as when I post in the smaller post boxes in my area it never gets delivered so it must get lost between the post box and sorting office.
My thinking was if I post it at the post box outside the sorting office its only a few steps away from being on its way, how wrong was I it still does not get delivered.

We now get on average one delivery a week

We now get on average one delivery a week If someone has a signed for item that gets delivered when due but even though they have taken the trouble to drive down here they don't bother with anything else.
Its a pathetic service and should be nationalised.
