When I entered the Danesholme Post…

When I entered the Danesholme Post Office Corby, Sue and her very friendly staff could have not been so helpful. I was sending a parcel and they took care of everything for me. They even checked with my permission my mobile phone to get the payment receipt and address to print the label for me.
Thank you so much to Sue and her Staff.

Orpington High Street Post Office

Orpington High Street Post Office
Staff are completely clueless and vile. Terrible customer service. The staff (including a manager) didn’t even know their own company policies. Wouldn’t accept ID that is listed on the site and email. I had to show them their own website with the list of valid ID and they still they didn’t understand, listen or release my parcel. Rude and incompetent.

Home insurance via post office…

Home insurance via post office they managed to lock me out of my account, I managed to get it up and running states my renewal starts 22 July on quote, yet my renewal date wasn’t until the 8th of August he then said I’d get an email about renewal date so I’d need to wait until the 7th July, 28 day thing. But couldn’t cancel until I’d received it. Talk about useless.

I would like to take this opportunity…

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rita and Naren at the Royal Wootton Bassett post office, who was very helpful and kind towards me with my passport application and ,who both were absolutely amazing with their service and helpfulness, when there was a big queue of customers....I give them both 10 out of 10 for going above and beyond. Yours sincerely Mr Lawrence kirby.

Royal mail coalville sorting office…

Royal mail coalville sorting office have gone above and beyond to make sure I received my parcel AFTER post had already been delivered. This was a fault of the supplier where I purchased the item but the post office made everything OK by getting this very important parcel to me. Thankyou so very much to the guy I spoke to on the phone and to the postman that went out of his way to deliver. #notallheroeswearcapes

The post office are LIARS

The post office are LIARS.
I bought an item from Amazon, and unfortunately, the sellers chosen courier was The Post Office, I say this because of past experience.
An email from the Post Office stated my parcel will be delivered on Saturday 13 July. I received a further email on the afternoon of 13 July stating delivery was not possible as no one was in, I live in a cottage and the front door is not in use as it is on the highway. A clear sign on the front door states this and says all deliveries round the back. I watched the delivery driver approach the front door, read the sign then walk away and get in his van and drive away. No effort what so ever to deliver the parcel to the back door.
I have received another email from Post Office today, Monday 15 July again saying, they tried to deliver today but there did not seem to be anyone in. We have been in all day. No card left saying they tried to deliver because they did not turn up.
LIARS, LIARS, LIARS.

I wouldn’t even give them one star

I wouldn’t even give them one star. We don’t have a post office in Portishead anymore unbelievably and my experience with the delivery office has been pretty dire. In the past two days I’ve had two emails. The first gave me a window of my delivery between 7.30am-7.30pm. Fine, but I had another email this morning to say my package would be delivered at 7.30pm. Again, fine at least I can now pop out to the shops briefly. However, when I arrived home there was my, very visible bright red package item on the doorstep. I was lucky it was there I suppose but all the same pretty bad service. Don’t bother trying to complain on the website as there seems to be a problem putting a date of birth in….why they need an age, I know not.

Just saw an apology made by the PO for…

Just saw an apology made by the PO for publishing names etc of the prosecuted sub postmasters. Has this company no shame? My late Grandfather was once head of the post office in Aberdeen and I am sure he would be turning in his grave. Why aren’t the PO bosses jailed, aswell as Horizon? This has gone on stupidly long enough.

Sub PO Staff Don't Know S.Ireland not in UK etc

I'm in UK mainland and went to my local sub post office to get a price post a parcel to Ireland . Staff said cost of parcel to Ireland same as UK mainland. That didn't sound right. I gave them the parcel to be weighed and postcode to be sent to , Quoted £10. Was only in to get a quote , so left with parcel.

Went back a few days later and told it would be £23.95 for the same parcel / same postcode. Member of staff said it was dearer because it was Ireland . Reminded them I had previously told about £10. They just looked at me , no apology. So , I left with my parcel.

Tried another sub Post Office . £43.95 Global Shipping. I said that I had been quoted £23.95 (International Shipping ?) at another sub Post Office. They said they didn't have that option on their system. So, went back to original sub post office with parcel.

Latest quote at original Post Office ? Minimum £32.95. Not one of the 3 members of seemed to know that the Republic of Ireland is not in the UK , even though I explained difference between Ireland and N.Ireland. 2 of them don't seem able to understand how to properly weigh a parcel to give a accurate quote for posting.

What a shambles ! Never again , I'll be using courier companies from now on.

Be warned , especially if you are an ebay seller !

Devastated

Posted most of my dog grooming kit to be sharpened by a company while I was away for a few days(first time away since 2016) cannot afford to buy spare kit but thought it would be back to me ready for work after my days away. Royal Mail have gone and lost my parcel with all my kit in and I believe its because the clerk at Birstall post office didn’t stick the label on properly (I pointed this out but he didn’t seem to care) Can’t believe I’ve lost all my kit and they don’t seem to care or try search for it. devastated as can’t afford to replace these items and bet compensation won’t pay out much.

Terrible service as usual

I went to one of the post offices to return an item bought from Amazon via Royal Mail.

The guy at the counter was very rude and refused flatly to take the item claiming that he did not have any bag for Amazon and appeared to be instructing me to cancel the return arrangement. He did not apologise for not providing the service the post office supposed to and kept claiming Amazon and his attitude was simply disgusting.

I contacted Amazon to change the return method from Royal Mail to Everi and the collection point for Everi, which was actually another post office, was much nicer.

The original post office should stop dealing with Amazon if they keep their mediocre services.

We now get on average one delivery a week

We now get on average one delivery a week If someone has a signed for item that gets delivered when due but even though they have taken the trouble to drive down here they don't bother with anything else.
Its a pathetic service and should be nationalised.

Burnt oak post office.

Burnt oak post office.

This post office is really a disgrace the staff are incompetent & rude
have zero idea of customer service
Make regular mistakes of a financial nature so check your accounts for transactions
the manager is one of the rudest individuals I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to & he's not bright at all & cannot grasp basic communication.

He has even offered a woman out to fight outside because she corrected him about an issue
the staff have no personality & give the impression they would rather not serve you.

Post office Garforth Main Street

Michael is very helpful and friendly. Basically does what he can to help and I like to have a chat with him when I'm in. The three ladies I've come to know over a few years are lovely. Unfortunately, there is a horrid, rude, obnoxious little man, incapable of saying please of thank you. Always trying to upsell to special delivery etc. Why is someone in a customer facing role, when they obviously can't stand people?!?

Don't use The Post Office as an external business partner.

I used Moonpig to organise an 18th Birthday card for my Grandson.
I thought I had organised everything within an expansive timeline - just to be on the safe side - and then realised that Moonpig use the Post Office as their service partner.
OMG.
Over 48 hours over the 72 hours expected.
When will businesses learn not to put the reputation of their own businesses in the hands of a third rate operators. It reflects badly on them through no fault of their own.
For Goodness Sake hold your external stakeholders to account, or they will simply carry on proffering an abysmal service.

Woodthorpe Post Office York closing early due to slacker working late shift

I came to use Woodthorpe post office, York at 7.30pm and it wasn't supposed to close until 8pm. But guess who has shut the post office early again it’s Sue!. How can I rely on a post office that has lazy workers working in it?. The latest excuse is the horizon system was rebooting?. It’s time this worker is sorted out.
