Today we went to check out the Point Hudson Marina and RV Park in Port Townsend, Washington. We thought since we've been here before and stayed at the facilities provided by the consignee, we might look at another alternative for the next time we visit.
The RV park is at the very end of the town, overlooking the water of Admiralty Inlet. If we stayed there, we'd be able to take our bikes out and ride into town. I met a nice man from Homer, Alaska who was staying at the RV park with his wife, and we had brunch at the Hudson Point Cafe.
Afterwards we hit two thrift shops, a Radio Shack (Ed needed gadgets), and then drove around a nearby boatyard looking at all the boats propped up on blocks waiting for repair, or repainting, or refitting - whatever it is they do to boats in order to make them seaworthy.
And now I'm going to say something that sounds so old fashioned, but fitting for this Victorian seaport...
It was a perfectly lovely day.
