Don't Be Crabby Because It's Monday

Ed found this perfectly preserved, dried-out Dungeness Crab on the beach in Port Townsend, Washington.

You can't tell from the photo because I didn't photograph it next to anything for perspective, but it's a little bigger than a quarter and a little smaller than a silver dollar. He's super cute!  Look at those teeny little pinchers!

Sadly, this was our only interaction with seafood this weekend.  Next time we'll enjoy him in a crab cake or just feast on the legs of a much bigger relative.
