Here's a picture of one of the Mid-America Trucking Show attendees. I'd like to say this is the exception, but it's really not. Her shirt says, "My Beaver, My Rules" and the A.S.S. sticker was an acronym for a product that was being sold at the show.
There are a few things I don't understand. First of all, she's clearly "older". I didn't see her face, but it really doesn't matter. I don't have any problem with an older woman having a slim figure. I might even envy it a little bit. But she's not twenty.
She shouldn't be wearing a mini-skirt that barely covers her ass cheeks (with a sticker that says "Check out my A.S.S." on it). To a truck show. And she definitely shouldn't be wearing a t-shirt that advertises her Beaver dictating how things are gonna go down. As if her Beaver is that powerful. I'm guessing some beaver can be powerful, but not fifty year old beaver.
What I'd like to know is, HOW did she look in the mirror before she left the house and think this was a good outfit?? To wear in public. And since she was with a man, presumably her husband or boyfriend, did he look at her when she left the house? And if he did, do you think he said, "You look hot." Wait, don't answer that, he probably did.
And you thought we went to the truck show to see trucks. Silly beaver.

i have to say i'm a little dissapointed that she didn't complete that outfit with a pair of faux uggs.i
I'm telling you, she was a retired (or maybe just tired) lot lizard.
You know, in the time I spent OTR I never once had any trouble out of the opposite sex. I was never propositioned, never attacked, never threatened in any way really.
But I heard all kinds of stories of women in the field being approached, attacked, and worse.
I tend to think my conservative clothing and the way I carried myself helped protect me from potiential predators.
This chick... husband, boyfriend or not... just asking for trouble if you ask me.
So ladies, take note of how NOT to dress if you don't want to find yourself on the business end of a rape kit or autopsy table.
I'm just sayin'.
Bradbury: I actually think she did incorporate "UGG" into that outfit...as in UGG-ly.
Tannedon: That outfit is one of a workin' girl...I don't know about retired. LOL
GiGi: I totally agree with you. I've read stories online and frankly, I wonder what these women are talking about. I suppose it happens, and I don't do this alone, but I have never been approached, talked to, attacked, disrespected, ANYTHING....while out here.
And I don't typically dress too conservative...I mean, I'm matchy-matchy, full on hair and makeup almost every day. And no one has ever taken that as an invitation to hit on me.
I don't know if this chick was a driver, but she just LOOKED like one. Or a driver's wife.
And I totally agree that if you're out there alone, there are ways to not put yourself in a position you don't want to be in.
