Despite some improvements in food assistance during April and May, the Gaza Strip remains at severe risk of famine. According to the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) backed TheIPCinfo report, 96% of Gaza’s 2.2 million people face high levels of acute food insecurity, with 22% experiencing catastrophic conditions.
