Carbon farming is not a new concept, but it is a forgotten method of farming which led us to soil infertility and food crisis. To make the land arable and profitable, it is a high time to fix the soil carbon issues. Traditionally, our farmers burn crop residues / wastage to enrich their soil with bio-carbon. But, this method has resulted in polluting environments with carbon emission. Agriculture is responsible for one-third of non-CO2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the world. Changing agricultural practices and shifting to a diet that’s devoid of meat and dairy products could reduce the sector’s emissions by up to 50 per cent by 2050, find researchers. TerraGreen has developed the much-needed expertise in infusing the soil with bio-carbon and developed a revolutionary bio carbon product - CarbON B. We have partnered with payAgri Innovations Pvt Ltd to take this innovative bio-carbon product to the Indian and global farming community. The world's soils store an estimated 2,500 gigatons of carbon, which is more than three times the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. As a rule, healthy soils with high organic matter tend to sequester more carbon. Regenerative farming methods are proven to build resilient, carbon-rich soils while increasing groundwater retention and improving overall ecosystem health. This link between soil management and sustainable climate action is the reason we are seeing a global shift towards regenerative farming - especially as companies worldwide are gearing to meet their ESG 2030 goals! To know more, or to see #RegenAg practices in action, DM us to schedule a visit to any of our farms across India. #SoilClassWithUFCO #healthysoil #delhifarms #hyderabadfarms #indianfarms #regenerativeagriculture #freshfromthefarm #sustainablefarming #sustainablefarmingpractices #freshvegetables #fresh #farm #agricultureindia

As the global population continues to grow, so does the demand for high-quality, sustainable food production. That's where Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) comes in. By using advanced technology and precision farming techniques, CEA allows for year-round production of fresh, healthy produce in a controlled environment. Freshbay takes it one step further with #GeoCEA. By incorporating geothermal energy into the equation, we are making our production model far more efficient that traditional CEA. Our indoor greenhouse utilizes the latest technology to create a perfect growing environment for our crops. From temperature and humidity control to advanced lighting and irrigation systems, we are able to produce high-quality, nutrient-rich produce all year round. But CEA is not just about improving crop yields and quality. By reducing the need for pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, CEA also helps to minimize the environmental impact of agriculture. And by producing food closer to where it is consumed, CEA can also reduce transportation emissions and support local economies. So far, CEA is the future of sustainable agriculture. By applying this innovative farming technique in our indoor greenhouse, we are able to produce high-quality, locally-grown produce that is both healthy and environmentally friendly. What are your thoughts on sustainable farming applying CEA? Exactly. It is all about the holistic approach.
Soil Health Coach at Re-Gen Farming - I help farmers improve their soil health and profitability through soil health consulting & education. Let's work together to create a sustainable future for agriculture.
🌿🌎 It's not just a trend; it's a return to practices that replenish the earth and ensure a sustainable future for farming. Here are some reasons: 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡: Regenerative farming enhances soil fertility. By avoiding synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, these practices increase soil biodiversity and organic matter, leading to healthier crops. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: This method is a powerful ally against climate change. Healthy, organic soils have a higher capacity to capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, storing it in the ground where it belongs. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Regenerative practices improve soil structure, increasing water infiltration and retention. This reduces the need for irrigation and makes farms more resilient against drought. 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲: By fostering a variety of plants and animals, regenerative farming supports wider biodiversity. Diverse ecosystems are more resilient and contribute to the health of our planet. 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Farms practicing regenerative agriculture often see lower input costs and improved crop yields over time. This economic resilience can safeguard farmers' livelihoods against market and environmental pressures. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 isn't just good for the earth; it's essential for our future. It’s about growing food in harmony with nature, securing not just the health of our soil, but also the well-being of generations to come. 🌱💚 #regenfarming #regenerative #farming #agriculture #soil #soilhealth #healthysoil #farmers
