I went to the mall the other day and came back with a shirt and then tons of toys for me, myself, and I. Just kidding. Three were for the kids but the rest were for me. ;) I got a few to add to my Toy Story collection. =)
I also had to pick up Pocahontas. I love Pocahontas. She's strong, independent, and brave. What more could you ask for in a woman?
Oh yea, and this is the sushi I ate for lunch on Friday. It looks (sort of) good but it made me so sick. =\
Have a gorgeous Sunday everyone. <33

Presents & Freebies
As you all know, I gave up buying basically anything makeup/fashion related for Lent. However, I have received some random small presents and freebies here and there over the last few weeks.
My most recent present was Quite Cute lipstick from MAC's new Quite Cute collection. He knew that I was really looking forward to this collection and so he asked if I wanted anything. At first, I wanted quite a few products but after seeing all the online swatches and reviews, all I wanted was Quite Cute -a pale lavender lipstick.
Last Friday, I also got a nice surprise in the mail from MyNameNecklace.com. I've been eyeing the customizable name necklaces on their site for months so I was thrilled that they decided to work with me. I've been wearing mine nonstop and have received several compliments!
Two weeks ago, my mom got me a little pink wallet that's perfect for trips to the city when I don't want to carry my huge purse. She also got a pack of six monkey key caps (I love key caps!) and gave me three. She, of course, took all the shades I usually go for (pink, purple, blue)! But I do love the green, orange, and gray that she gave me.
A few weeks ago, I was at the Disney Store and saw a bunch of key chains on sale. I snapped up a "villains" featuring Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Evil Queen, and Maleficent for about $3! I want to go back to get another to give as a present but I'm not sure if they're gone. P.S. THESE are the four characters that should've been featured in MAC's Venomous Villains collection.
And then finally, we have the freebies. I received the Target Beauty is My Bag freebie last week and have been loving it. In addition to this lovely freebie, I also received an Essie Polish in One Day Without Blues. A few weeks ago, TOMS was having a drawing where they gave away 5,000 bottles for liking them on Facebook. The polishes weren't given to the first 5,000 people -it was actually a drawing. And me being the goof I am, wrote the wrong address on the entry page. I knew I made a mistake but I clicked the submit button without thinking because I was in a rush. Because of this, I told my boyfriend and he entered too. Luckily, I didn't win (it would've been sent to the wrong house!) but my boyfriend did. P.S. I believe winners received an email if they won.
I know these things are tiny but they've really made me happy. I'm also really proud of myself for not buying any makeup or clothes (for myself.) Let me tell you, it's been TOUGH. For some reason, all the deals have been during Lent! They had the GAP Give and Get 30% promo, Sephora VIBS get 15% off (promo: VIBCHIC) from April 14-21, Cherry Culture had a 20% off sale, and in general, there's just been some awesome deals everywhere I like to shop. These are sales I've been waiting months for and they just happen to fall during Lent!! Ugh. I'm mostly upset about the 15% off at Sephora since there are a ton of things that I've been wanting to get with 15% off. The discount ends right before Easter too. =( At least I get to save money though..
Have a fabulous Monday everyone. What have you recently hauled?

Fun With Target's $1 Section: Super Girly Haul!! (Hello Kitty)
One of my favorite things in the world is bargain shopping so Target's $1 section is an absolute dreamland for me. I always find such cute things including Hello Kitty, Disney Princess, and even Japanese themed items. The only problem is that since everything's around $1 (sometimes they're $2.50 or $3.00), it's easy to get carried away!
Anyways, here are some things I picked up yesterday and during my last Target trip. A few of the things are for my upcoming giveaway -I just have to sort everything out first (hopefully by today or tomorrow!!)

Hello Kitty items- Stamps, pencils, lip gloss, candy, boxes, & notebook
Disney Princess items- Stickers, tin bucket, & misc. "Fancy Nancy" stickers
And this is super random..
My little sister and brother are still in elementary school and they are crazy about Silly Bandz. My sister gave me a giraffe (my favorite animal) and an elephant (doesn't look like one).. but anyways..
Did anyone know that they also had Silly Rings?! They're cute but I personally wouldn't want to wear a rubberband ring or bracelet (it's uncomfortable.) I wish I invented these things -they've actually had these at the Container Store for years now. The Silly Band guy is a genius though! Get kids to like them and you're automatically a millionaire.
What was the shizz when you were in elementary school? For me, it was Gel Pens and Pokemon cards. Everyone was also into Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and NSYNC!

Finally.. My MAC Venomous Villains & CVS Hauls (Reviews & Swatches)
I finally saw my boyfriend yesterday and got my MAC Venomous Villains goodies!! =) I had originally wanted just Oh So Fair Beauty Powder and Innocence, Beware! Lipstick but added in Strange Potion Lipglass later on since everyone kept saying how amazing it was and it was being sold out everywhere. I honestly haven't really used any of these products yet so I can't give full reviews but I have swatches and I'll give some mini-reviews.
I was initially going to get Briar Rose Beauty Powder but backed out because it was way too cool and purple-ly for my skin tone. Oh So Fair seemed like it would show up on my face (Her Own Devices wouldn't even show up in a hand swatch) so it was really the only one I could get.
Oh So Fair is a pale petal pink with a slight sheen to it (not a bunch of shimmer and glitter.)
I did try this on my face and it gave me the slightest pink flush -I do think it'll show up more if I wear foundation or tinted moisturizer though (most blushes do.) Honestly, if this weren't "Disney", I wouldn't have wanted it but I told myself I needed at least one of the Beauty Powders. I have olive undertones and medium skin (that tans very easily in the sun) and this barely showed up on my so I wouldn't recommend this for someone who had very tan or deep skin.
I didn't want to get Innocence, Beware! Lipstick but when I swatched it a few weeks ago, I feel in love. I read that it was very drying so I tried to stay away but the color is so, so pretty.
Innocence, Beware! (Cremesheen) is light pinky nude.

MAC glosses aren't my favorite but I'll buy them if there's a must-have shade. I'm not fond of their sticky texture and they tend to make my lips a little dry.
Strange Potion Lipglass is a shimmery "tame" coral with a pink edge.
I really liked that the lipsticks and lipglasses came in LE sleeves -but they slapped on the Macy's sticker on the front!Swatches..

CVS..
I also stopped by CVS yesterday to buy some flowers and stopped to pick up 2 Revlon polishes -one in Peach Petal and one in Cotton Candy. Peach Petal is one of my favorites so I wanted to include it for an upcoming giveaway and I haven't tried Cotton Candy but grabbed it so I could make the $15 for my purchase (I had a $5 off $15 coupon.)

MAC Venomous Villains & Daiso Haul
I did get the 2 things I wanted from Venomous Villains -Oh So Fair Beauty Powder (I changed my mind about Briar Rose) and Innocence, Beware! Lipstick. My boyfriend actually got them Thursday when the collection came out but the sad part is that I can't even have it or review them until next week! We live far from each other so we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like -plus our conflicting schedules don't exactly help. But anyways, I logged into my Gmail the other night and saw this sitting in my inbox. I thought it was sweet. =) Oh and he calls me, "Kal Kal."
I'm still contemplating on getting any other items. I keep finding myself checking out pictures of Strange Potion Lipglass, Briar Rose Beauty Powder, Her Own Devices Beauty Powder, Darkly My Dear Blush, and Her Alter Image eyeshadow. I seriously can't believe almost every item in the collection is sold out online -I do find the collection special but not as "spectacular" as it's being made out to be. Luckily, the MAC Counter by me has loads of everything left but who knows if it'll be gone once the weekend comes and goes.
But something I do actually have are some new goodies from Daiso! I've had a very long, busy, and slightly stressful week (tests, essays, quizzes) so this was a nice feel-good haul without breaking the bank. I also bought 2 pairs of lashes for an upcoming giveaway -I want to have another one soon!
My favorite items from the haul are these little coin purses. I love cute coin purses. I wanted to give one away for the next giveaway but I think someone (I know in "real life") will actually really like this so I might give one to her.. If you like these, let me know! I'll try to include one in a giveaway prize if you do.

UPDATE: My Official (to buy) List for MAC Venomous Villains, Quick Review, & Thoughts
I know I've written about Venomous Villains like a billion times by now but I finally have my "final thoughts" of everything. I stopped by Bloomies yesterday while shopping in the city and nearly fainted when I saw the Venomous Villains display up at the MAC counter. I've been in a tug-a-war with the collection since the news first broke out the MAC and Disney were collaborating. I was excited, then it disappeared, then excited again, then not, and so on. So just when I started being un-excited (for the last few weeks), my excitement grew again! I think just seeing Disney + MAC in together IN person made my day.
So I went along swatching everything (no pictures, sorry -I figured there were already so many of them online.) After swatching, what I had originally wanted totally changed. Toxic Tale Lipstick, Her Own Devices Beauty Powder, and Bite Of An Apple Blush, which were the main things I was interested in, have all totally been scrapped from my list. The only 2 things I really want are Innocence, Beware! Lipstick and Briar Rose Beauty Powder.
So why the change? Toxic Tale is gorgeous but I can't justify buying something I'll rarely use, even for "collecting" purposes, anymore -money doesn't fall from the sky. Her Own Devices looked neat but in person, it barely showed up on my skin. All the Beauty Powders weren't "pigmented in one swipe" -I had to swatch several layers for the color to show up (and the testers were new btw) -this was also the case with Bite Of An Apple Blush (but don't get me wrong, it's pigmented.) I really loved Her Alter Image Eyeshadow but decided it wasn't for my skin tone. I actually really liked Vainglorious too but I wouldn't want to pay $14.50 (is that the price?) for a color similar to something I already have -plus I hate buying single eyeshadows.
Now for the things I want.. I didn't want Innocence, Beware! at first because I heard it was drying BUT I've fallen in love with the color and no longer care (looked like a pale, pinky nude.) Briar Rose Beauty Powder (to me) is the most pigmented of all the Beauty Powders and I really couldn't walk away without one. I'm a little scared it won't work for me though since it has a lot of violet in it.
Overall thoughts? I honestly think the collection could've been much better but I still believe that the collection will be very exciting for anyone who loves MAC or Disney. To me, the quality of the products could've been better. I had to swatch every Beauty Powder and blush about 4-5 times to get good color payoff. I already have this love/hate relationship with MAC's glosses (too sticky) and lipsticks (too drying.) The eyeshadows were mainly good though -pigmented (forgot to try the Mineralize Eyeshadows from Maleficent's Collection.) The Magically Cool Powders didn't seem that pigmented either. Overall, I'd just like better quality from MAC but I guess that's what you get when you're going high-end at a lower price (compared to brands like Chanel, YSL, Dior, etc.)
I'm still not loving the packaging (although I think Evil Queen's is the best) and really, if I had helped "design" the collection (I wish!), I would've done so many things differently. I would've included Ursula in the collection (Hello?? She wears more makeup than all the villains..), I would've transferred the mirror from Dr. Facilier's Collection to Evil Queen's Collection (Hello?? Did they forget "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?!), and I would've done some different color choices. But really, oh well. The collection is overall good but not as magnificent as I had anticipated a few months back.
Read on for collection information and photos. I did not include prices because I'm really not sure what the prices will be. I posted before that the prices would be (for example) $15 a lipstick, $15.50 an eyeshadow, $19.50 a blush, etc. (and it's the same prices as listed on Temptalia) but MAC just raised the lipstick and lipglass prices to $14.50 -I don't think they'd raise prices again within just a month or so but who knows. I'll update when the collection comes out online.

Vacation Haul! Makeup, Clothes, & Disney Stuff..
During my mini-vacation, I picked up a few things here and there. I definitely didn't go all out -I was saving for Fabulous Felines and Venomous Villains.
A look at everything..
LORAC Perfectly Lit in Spotlight, LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush in Exposed, MAC A Rose Romance. The Perfectly Lit powder was only $9!! Go pick one up!
The day before I left, I went to Sephora to pick up my free VIB Swag Bag. Sadly, they were all out (and this was the 1st day too!) but since I was really upset they were all out, they gave me a bag of samples.
Burberry, Bliss, Lancome, Clinique, BE Buxom, Givenchy
I thought this little cell phone charm was so cute! But my phone doesn't have a "hook" thingy for it.
I got these from Downtown Disney! Belle is actually my favorite but she looked funny. I thought Ariel looked the best.. All the other princesses didn't really look like themselves.
I also picked up some beads. I would've bought more but each was 90 cents -totally overpriced! I didn't even want to buy these 4 but gave in because they're adorable.
We went to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets and I picked up these Chinese Laundry "Sweet Revenge" jelly flats from Factory Brand Shoes. I ended up returning them when I got back because they were too big -they'd slip off when I walked. I LOVE the way they look -very different from anything I have but even a size 5 was too big (I'm usually a 5.5.)
I love them..
<3
GAP Black/Brown Racerback dress- $17.99 on sale! This can be dressed up or down.
GAP Ruffle Dress- $39.99. I ended up returning it because I thought it was way too expensive for what it was. Plus the quality wasn't as good -probably because it's GAP Outlet.
GAP T-Shirt Dress- $4.97 on sale. I love this dress and it was so cheap too!

GAP Cardigan- $34.99. This was another one of the things that was too expensive for what it was. It ended up being a return. I rather get one from (regular) GAP that's thicker.
At Disneyland, I got 2 Vinylmation figures. The thing about these figures is that they're in boxes with now "windows" so you can't see which one you're buying. There are several different collections but if you buy 2 from the same collection, you run the risk of buying 2 of the same kind!
I bought 2 figures (one for me and one for my boyfriend) from the Urban #2 Collection. Above are the designs included in the collection.
Luckily, I got 2 different designs! The one on the right was actually the one I wanted -I wasn't too fond of the on the right. I don't get why they'd make one like that! It looks like someone dunked mud/poo/chocolate onto Mickey!! =O
At Legoland, they were having "Star Wars Day" so they gave out free stuff. Here's part of a really cool poster they gave out (contains many of the Star Wars characters in LEGO form) and a limited edition LEGO brick.
That's it for my haul! I'll be doing reviews for the makeup I bought soon.
