Kids and Tic Tac Toe

In the past, its possible I've been known to NOT play tic tac toe very well, sometimes I kind of pick and choose but this time, I thought I better play correctly! :)~

Here's the tic tac toe board for Crafts 4 Eternity:

You can play tic tac toe also and have a chance to win 3 free digital images from Crafty Sentiments Designs!!

And while I was at it, I combined tic tac toe and made a card...well technically a tag...for a kid (Wags 'n Whiskers), another fantastic challenge!! Play along with Wags 'n Whiskers for your chance to win one free rubber stamp...AND use a Wags 'n Whiskers image and you will be entered in the drawing TWICE!!

Won't this tag be just perfect to tie onto a gift sack? You can write your message right there on the back of the tag! Love!!

I used Toby's Big Day - truly love this image for kiddo's - and went with a diagonal tic tac toe of red (balloon, party hat, accents), tearing (star strip down the side) and stripes (patterned paper, party hat and can we count the ribbon on the package - ha)! I used the distressed tag from Memory Box dies cut from patterned paper and a piece of white cardstock; then stamped both with the matching stamp and Memento London fog ink. Lines and everything so its easy to write your message.

Love how the balloon hangs off the edge!

Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake

This is a recipe given to me by DH's mom; it's ALWAYS a hit with my family. Some eat it plain, some add milk to it in a bowl, others want an egg on top...you just never know! I made 2 full cakes this morning; one is 3/4 gone (much has been eaten since this picture was taken), the other is just waiting...bet by Sunday evening both are totally gone. LOL

Here's the recipe if you'd like to try it:

Cake Ingredients:

1 Egg
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Oil
1 Cup Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
Dash Salt

Mix together and pour into 8"x8" greased dish.

Topping:

1 Tablespoon butter, melted
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Flour
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Mix together until crumbly and sprinkle over cake.

Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!

Yum!

Can you say Y-U-M-M-Y???

I tried a new recipe called Turtle Pumpkin Pie - oh so easy to make and oh so delicious!. That's all that was eaten when I left today, I meant to bring it home and take it to work tomorrow, but I forgot. I also made a new recipe of pumpkin bars and they were great too! I left those with my mom and dad - mom can take it all to work tomorrow. Better they eat it than me. :D

The shell is a Honey Maid Pie Crust drizzled with carmel topping and pecan pieces. Then you mix:

1 C cold milk
2 - 4 oz. servings instant vanilla pudding
1 C canned pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmet

Whish until blended, then add 1 1/2 C whipped topping and pour into pie shell. Top with remaining cool whip. Before serving drizzle with caramel topping and pecans.

YUM, YUM. I hope you had a splendid day! Thanks for stopping by! ~M.
