TLT Challenge - Office Stationery

Welcome back to another challenge over at the Ladybug Challenge Blog - this week, we were challenged to use things you would find in the office...I have one little item. :D A paperclip; but it's just perfect for holding on this cute little sentiment flag!

I used "Winestool Nikki"; although I prefer to call her Bar Stool Nikki - LOL (Queenie hates when I do that!). tee hee

I love this image and she's perfect for wishing anyone a happy birthday! I used the layout from The Sweet Stop (SSS183) and colors from CR84FN (#66) - tan, cream and grey - pretty color combo; I pulled in a bit of pink from the DP also.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you'll visit the challenge blog and join in the fun!

Hugs,

I need P!

Welcome back for another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink - see the title? Yeah, that was the name of our challenge...gotta admit, I had NO CLUE what that meant!! I don't need to P, they call me M. Pee, what kind of P do they need? Oh those bugs - they're trouble!! But I love 'em!!

I had to consult the Queen to determine what was needed, she said anything with a "P"; so I went with pink, pillow, poodle, parkle (oh wait, that actually has an S at the beginning huh?), well I tried!!

I love this Nikki image; she's one of my faves. I used the color combo from CR84FN (pink, tan and cream) and the layout from Splitcoaststampers - paired it all up for a fabby little birthday card.

I colored the image with Copics and then added dazzling diamonds to Nikki's top. The ric rac is cream felt - dee-lish; some stitching and super fun papers from MME finish it off.

Thanks for popping in; join us over at Ladybug Crafts Ink for "I NEED P!".

Hugs,

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss Style

Isn't this little cake too cute? Julee's husband says this looks like a Dr. Seuss cake - HA! (Julee is the owner and designer of Verve Visual).

I used the Mojo Monday sketch #261 for the layout - super cute layout and perfect for this little card (3.5" X 4.25") which also fits the CR84FN challenge (blue, green and yellow) - delightful colors for a birthday card!

I embossed the cake in black and then added black dimensional accents for the polka dots - super fun 3D effect! The "plate" and stand were colored with a light gold sparkly pen (that's like the official name I think! :D) and I added a little doodled border to the main panel. Love how the sparkle looks! I accented the cake layers with colored pencils.

Simple with lots of dimension, some stitching, embossing, sewing, a doily, scrumptious ribbon, fun buttons, twine and colored jute twine too (colored green to match the button). Hope it brings a smile to the recipient's face!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a GREAT weekend! Happy Friday!!

Hugs,

CR84FN59...late

I made this card about a week ago right after I made a really intense card - you know, one that seemed to take F-O-R-E-V-E-R? :D

I used inspiration from CR84FN59 (tan, brown and coral) and went completely CAS (clean and simple) and girly all the way! Only stamping is on the inside!

I used PTI's scalloped die and cut out 5 strips (all at once) from a paperback book then edged with Berry Sorbet ink. I embossed the Kraft layer with small dots and lightly rubbed on some PTI ivory ink. Everything was layered onto Dark Chocolate and Berry Sorbet card stock; I repeated the same colors on the inside and then stamped "beautiful U" from Verve Visual's You and I.

So glad you stopped by; I truly appreciate each and every visit!

... beautiful U ...

Hugs, ~M.

Hey dude

I just love the challenge over at CR84FN - first time I've found this blog but boy am I glad I did!! Red/Yellow and a neutral - I was dying to create a card - but of course, my mind was on all girly stuff but then a friend requested a b-day card for her nephew who turns 5 in a few weeks. Well...why not make those colors work right? :D

Fastest card made in my crafting career - LOL. DP is from Bo Bunny; found some red - found some yellow and went to work. I covered the red polka dot paper with Antique Linen distress ink - yeah, boys get dirty and the white was just "too clean" - HA!

The cute little dinosaur was stamped on the white card stock then stamped 2 more times - once on the yellow DP and once onto Kraft card stock - I cut the entire image out of the yellow and then cut off just the "horns" from the Kraft and adhered with a glue pen. I roughed up all the edges - inside as well as outside. Stamped the "hey dude" on a Lil Inkers flag and added a jute twine stitch.

Card and Matching Envelope

I wanted to spruce up the envelope a bit to tie it altogether so I stamped the little dinosaur in Tuxedo Memento Black, PTI Pure Poppy and Summer Sunrise. Quick and simple - hope the little guy likes it!

Thanks for popping in - see you again real soon!

... you're a cuteasaurus ...

Hugs, ~M.
