Read on for Amy's answers to our interview questions as well as a peek at the cards she's sharing today.

Hi, all! My name is Amy Rohl, and I live in Wisconsin with my husband and our family. During the school year, I work as a school based speech language pathologist and squeeze in crafting time whenever possible. I have been stamping and crafting for 10+ years and love sharing what I create with others on my blog and social media. My favorite technique is incorporating bits and pieces of cool things I see other papercrafters using and I'm inspired by just about anything on Pinterest. I'd describe my style as primarily clean and simple with a sprinkle of something to make you giggle or smile.

When  did you get hooked on stamping?
I really got hooked on stamping about 10 years ago at a Stampin' Up! party and have always loved the instant (or almost instant) gratification that comes with card-making.

How often do you stamp?
On average,  I stamp about 5 days a week.

by Amy Rohl using Good Work
What style are you most drawn to creating?
I'm drawn to many different styles, but primarily clean and simple with a fun twist thrown in.

What do you love most about paper crafting?
I love the generosity of the paper crafting community and the ability to individualize your craft to suit your needs, your mood or sometimes the supplies you have on hand. I love being inspired by just about anything and shaping that into some sort of hand crafted item.

by Amy Rohl using Just Breathe
What technique or product is currently making your paper crafting heart go pitter patter?
I love the organic nature of water coloring and the forgiveness of the technique.  Naturally, I've fallen in love with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens as my go to color source for water coloring.

A big thank you to Amy for her fabulous spotlights!!!  Be sure to head on over to her blog and give her a shout-out for a chance to win. And stay tuned tomorrow for more from Amy and our other guests during our Release Retrospective Blog Hop!

Read on for KellyJean's answers to our interview questions as well as a peek at the cards she's sharing today.

My name is KellyJean Gettelfinger I am a WAHM (Work At Home Mom, pronounced "WAM!" hehehe) of two kiddos. My daughter is in her first year of college at SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design. And my son is a junior in HS, about to drive all on his own... yikes! My sweet hubby and I have been married for nearly twenty five years. I have taught theology for thirteen years to home schooled students of grades four, five, and six. I am currently taking a break from teaching. For five years now I have been the director of a memory album program for my local Hospice. I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator of 17 years who enjoys sharing my love of paper arts with as many like minded companies as possible.

When  did you get hooked on stamping?
I became hooked on stamping 17 years ago.

How often do you stamp?
I stamp every day. It's my job. But it is also my creative outlet. If I didn't stamp for a career, I'd still stamp for enjoyment.

What style are you most drawn to creating?
I've been told I am a "simple stamper." I like clean and simple because I try my very best to actually SEND the cards I make and GIVE the gifts I make. I'm just like anyone else... time eludes me. By keeping my creations "simply sensational," I can make more than just one incredibly amazing project. Sill, I enjoy all styles of paper arts. So I take every opportunity possible to push my creative knowledge and press my skill limits in paper arts.

What do you love most about paper crafting?
What I love most about paper crafting is the encouragement it brings to both the paper artist as well as the recipient receiving the artist's gift whether it be a greeting card or anything else. This art literally makes a person feel so very special and all it takes is a little bit of ink and paper with a fun set of images. Just recently, I worked a 72 hour retreat where I was responsible for six out of sixty women. The weather report said rain so I decided to give each of my gals an umbrella with a hand stamped tag attached to it. You would have thought I spent a million bucks on those umbrellas and it was all because of the TAGS. The tags meant more to the gals than the umbrellas and my heart soared knowing how special each of the gals felt.

What technique or product is currently making your paper crafting heart go pitter patter?
Right now, I am in love with Bible Journaling. I teach a Bible Journaling 101 to help people understand the foundation of this incredible Bible study tool. Then once a month we meet for Creative Bible Time where we experiment with different art techniques in our Bibles. Stamping is one of my absolute favorite things to do in my Bible because it's quick and easy and beautiful.

A big thank you to KellyJean for her fabulous spotlights!!!  Be sure to head on over to her blog and give her a shout-out for a chance to win. And stay tuned this Friday for more from KellyJean during our Release in Review Blog Hop!

I  try to get some kind of crafty time in at least two to threes times a week, usually in the late afternoon, evening.

by Rosemary Dennis using Good Work

What style are you most drawn to creating?
I am a clean and simple girl.  That is the style I am most drawn to, but I do love to layer things up now and then and get a little bit shabby.

What do you love most about paper crafting?
Seeing an idea come to life in the form of a card is one of the things I love the most about paper crafting.

by Rosemary Dennis using Just Breathe
What technique or product is currently making your paper crafting heart go pitter patter?
Right now I'm really enjoying the simpler aspects of watercoloring and hope to get the time to expand on that technique a bit more.

Guest Spotlight with Lori Craig.

Hi Verve fans!  Welcome to the first day of our October Guest Diva Spotlights!  Last Friday we released 2 new sets, a plain jane, a die set and a sequin mix.  And this week we've got four special guest spotlights planned showing you some more inspiration with the new goodies!  Plus there's a chance to win some Verve each day this week!

Today's featured designer is Lori Craig.  She's a long time Verve customer, cheerleader, friend and one of the nicest people in the stamping industry. I love her sunny, crisp style with a splash of fun. She's been asking for a Verve wheat set for what seems like FOREVER and while there's only one wheat image in our Good Work set, I was totally thinking of her when I included it!

Prize Alert: Hop on over to Lori's blog, Make a Difference, to check out her fabulous first looks at the new sets and give her a little shout out in the comment section for a chance to win a $30 gift voucher to Verve!

Read on for a little bit about Lori in her own words, and a few peeks at the cards she's sharing today.

My name is Lori Craig, and I'm so happy to be sharing a few Verve creations with you from the most recent release.

I have been a happy, happy Verve customer for years who loves Julee's crisp, fresh stamp images mixed with beautifully designed, never-changing truth from God's Word.

by Lori Craig using Good Work

I have been paper crafting since 1998 when a friend shared stamping with me! I thought I'd make a few greeting cards and move on to some other addiction, but the relationships I've made thru designing, my work at Splitcoaststampers as their advertising manager for the past 8 years and teaching as I travel across the country for Copic Markers have me more in love with the craft today than ever before!

by Lori Craig using Just Breathe

My husband and I have relocated a stamp studio over 4 different states since 1998, and after recent transfer, I am more than ecstatic to be living back in my home state of Kansas, stamping on the prairie! We have 2 teenage daughters, so crafty time is harder to come by now than ever, but I manage to get into my studio several times per week.

by Lori Craig using Good Work

The thing I love most about paper crafting is the kindness shared by fellow addicts, followed by kraft card stock and the color Tiffany Blue.  I love a clean, classic design which is sometimes difficult to combo with my current favorite technique style of ink spattering or wash for background effects.

A big thank you to Lori for her awesome spotlights!!!  Be sure to head on over to her blog and give her a shout-out for a chance to win. And stay tuned this Friday for more from Lori during our Release in Review Blog Hop!

My card inspiration started with this week's Mojo Monday 420 sketch.  I used the new Good Works Flower Die Set to make the top of the tag shape and cut it to the size I needed for my sentiment, rounding the corners for a fun finished look.  The title sentiment from the Good Work  set is stamped in early espresso and then stamped again and offset with blushing bride for a bit of a shadow effect. I used a rays stencil and blushing bride ink to add the rays for a little interest down the side.

The flowers are stamped in calypso coral and then cut with the coordinating Good Works Flower Die Set.  I then sponged the inner portions with blushing bride and the outer edges with calypso coral and layered on dimensionals. For the tag topper, I added some ribbon from the Spring Fling Ribbon Collection, a wooden medallion and a bit of scrapper's floss that I inked with coordinating inks for a hint of blush. The card base is embossed with the woven embossing folder and I sponged with blushing bride and ground espresso inks.

Want to win some shiny new Verve? We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the Day 1 Hop spots to win today's featured products! Today's spotlight is shining on the Good Work set and coordinating Good Work Flower Die Set. Also in the spotlight is the Psalm 150:6 plain jane and beautiful new Frosted Snowfall Sequin Mix.

This elegant scripture set has long verses perfect for adding to your Bible journaling or as a quick focal point to an encouraging card or bookmark. The layered flowers add a bit of whimsy and a wheat stalk and some maple leaves make this set truly one for all seasons.
