with my wishes fulfilled, someone has been bringing his compact camera out religiously. And thus the photos of the past and present...
Xmas Dinner with the bubs family @ Hyatt Hotel (This happens a month ago. What say you bubs? :p)

Btw, if many have not known, I'm working in a global MNC and the big boys are from America. The irony is, my CEO is a yellow skin, and despite all the ang moh "teachings", we had a feng shui da shi instructing us to start work only on Chu 5. With this, I have additional 2 days of CNY break. Jealous, many? *chuckles*
In the meantime, bubs attended a so-to-speak useless course to him called "Speed Reading". What the monkey balls?!!??! Mr. Ching T1m Ju@n attending a speed reading course? Hilarious was a total understatement. This boy of mine reads 900 words per min, what on the earth is he doing in this course? wahhaha.. I know! he is just plain lazy, don't want to head back to work right?? hehehe.
So, my two days break is all filled with anticipation of seeing him after his course. Snake's lair place filled the first day, and for the second day, I dragged him along to a long forgotten land.
As we left civil service colleage, we went uhmms ... erm... to have a kickass dinner? Something cheap, but real good?
since we are in the west, why not... NUS ARTS CANTEEN! We reckon that since it's still early (5.30pm), the stalls should still be opened. I want to eat my laksa yong tau fu & slurp down my strawberry milkshake. I miss it previously since it was a weekend, but definitely NOT THIS TIME!
As we head there eagerly, my jaw dropped with disgust when my eye meets the metals. It closed!!!! I swing my head and to the right with hopes, so hopeful that a chilled strawberry milkshake can serve as a comfort. but TO MY HORROR, the metal grills were DOWN too! argh!
My heart sank and we decide to look for an alternative.
"Next please" starts ringing in my ears.
Still hopeful, but half dejected, we walked down Arts slope and into BIZAD canteen. As I peer into the corner where western stall sits.. I was utterly disappointment.
I turned to bubs, "B... today is thurs right? they should be selling dumpling today right?" With that little hope left, I walked towards the Chinese Stall. Yes, the metal grills were up, but, there is nothing left sitting on the counter top, I can still see many munching the dumplings away in the close arena, thus still hopeful. I poped that very question with plead "xiao jie, do you still have dumplings?" finally a "YOU!"Woohoo... My eyes light up immediately!
After gorging down our dinner; before the real agenda unfolds, we have 2 hours to waste.
As he have always been quite curious about "broadwalk" in West Coast Park, we made our way there promptly.
Here we are... WCP!

So, what was I really up to in the west the whole afternoon?
Was actually looking forward to a males hand ball match finals. My orange mother hall vs Raffles. They have lost to RH for the past few years with a thin margin, this year, they should be coming back with fire.

I left during half time and we were 2 goals down (6-8) .
But alas! The final score was SH 16 - RH 12. We won! Well done boys!
