Extremely exhaustive with all the brain juice squashed and proved inutile. 

Sitting through the darkness of the night, endless clicking on the mouse, deciphering pixels after pixels of google searches, lengthy debates within brain cells and finally piecing jig saws of her conception seems to prove wasted with 2 simple words; wrong direction. 

Battered, physically tired, but surprisingly, still mentally positive. Walking straight into the wall is definitely morale drowning, but there is still little adrenaline running though my capillaries. I still have the energy to fight, determined to climbed to the peak waiting for the picturesque of beauteous landscape unveil before my eyes. 

You are definitely one of the many reasons. I'm certain. Thanks.

a good book to share

Personality Plus by Florence Littauer

Thought that this might be a good book to share. There are 4 different types of personality that different people holds. Namely Sanguine, Melancholy, Phlegmatic and Choleric. I fall under 60% Melancholy, 15% Sanguine, 15% Phlegmatic and a small 10% Choleric. Each has its strengths and weakness, by finding out which one you belong to, you can work on your weakness to improve it and also fully utilize what your strength is.

I was quite skeptical initially about being given a label when I was first told about this book. However as I read on, it proves the way I behave. Surprisingly.

Melancholy - ME

The depth to see into the heart and soul of life. The artistic nature to appreciate the beauty of the world. The talent to create a masterpiece where nothing existed before. The ability to analyze and arrive at the proper solution. The eye for detail while others do shoddy work. The aim to finish what you start. The pledge "if it is worth doing, it's worth doing right." The desire to "do all things decently and in order."

Sanguine - MY BABY

Oh how the world needs the Fun Sanguine. The lift of joy in troubled times. The touch of innocence in a jaded era. The gift of humor when we're heavy hearted. The enthusiasm and energy to start over and over again. The creativity and charm to color a drab day. The simplicity of a child in complex situations.

Choleric

The firm control when others ar losing theirs. The cut of decision for foggy minds. The grip of leadership to head us to the good. The willingness to take a chance in a doubtful situation. The confidence to hold true in the face of ridicule. The independence to stand alone and be counted. The road map to life when we've gone astray. The urge to "take arms against a sea of troubles by opposing them."

Phlegmatic

The stability to stay straight on the course. The patience to put up with provokers. The ability to listen, while others have their say. The gift of mediation, uniting opposing forces. The purpose of peace at almost any price. The compassion to comfort those hurting. The will to live in such a way that even your enemies can't find anything bad to say about you.

I guess, the most important thing upon learning about yourself is to understand why does people behave differently from you. This leads on to relationship management.

I requested him to read this and I sat through the test with him. He is a Popular Sanguine and Perfect Melancholy(Me! ~duh!) has a natural match to this big kid. I guess this is why I am attracted to him. On the contrary, because we are worlds apart, me requiring everything in order and him, all over the place, we might meet conflicts in the near future. To better work things out, we better start understanding each other NOW! :)

A real good example:

On a thursday afternoon

Me: Bubs, so what time you want to meet this saturday to collect my phone? There is a slot from 5pm-7pm and another from 7pm-9pm?

(Being the organized me, I would want to schedule my timing perfectly.)

Him: Anything la

Me: Ok lor, den let's do the 5-7pm k?

Him: Sure!

Saturday Afternoon

Him: B.. I'm very tired today.

Me: Hmmm... Den okay lor, I will make the trip down myself. You rest at home lor.

Him: okay.. I think I will be going to do this and that... till about 9pm, we meet after that?

Me: (thinking: If initially you agree to go for the 7-9pm one, den I won't have to wait for you 3 hours but instead I can meet you straight after I collected my phone.) Okay lor.. You go do your things ba.

hahaha.. I had a good laugh about it when I think back about our difference in personality. If I did not understand that Sanguines are all over the place, I would wonder, why can't he be more organized about his timing and make sure he meant what he agreed on? Now that I've read that he is like that, I understand that he means no harm. He was nice enough to still want to meet me later at 9 plus despite his tiredness and the need to wake up early for his marathon this morning. hehehe.. I guess, if I didn't read the book, I would get so mad if these situations piles up more frequently.

Don't worry bub.. I'm really okay, not mad at you at all. Just citing a fun example which we talked about it too. hehe. Thought it's nice to share to especially those people who are in a relationship. Trust me, understanding your partner's personality, would really make you more understanding towards them.
